I don't mind the dirt. Can we see what the "rainbow" cleanup looks like?

Puggo Grande is in mono, too, if you can't wait to hear it ;)
Only news is that -1 and his possé are still working on it.
Ever since you were a little boy... :)

They re-did the adaption of Star Wars but kept the original adaptions of ESB and ROTJ.
Ah, that makes more sense.
Now I feel a lot less bummed that they didn't have the first book.

There were Special Edition adaptations put out by Dark Horse.

They did do reprints of the Marvels, but with new duller coloring than the originals.
Weird. That looks like the books I have, but it doesn't sound like the books I have.
I already mentioned the reprint info on the inside flap, and the credits are completely different (unless Episode IV just happened to have completely different credits from the other two).
"Script: Archie Goodwin
Pencils & Inks: Al Williamson, Carlos Garzon
Colors: Gary Porter, Perry McNamee
Lettering: Ed King
Cover Art: Greg & Tim Hildebrandt"
Neat, I didn't know pressing shift+return bypassed the extra <br>.
Also, I'm skimming through real quick, and I don't see any SE changes in Jedi. Even the Sarlacc looks like it's supposed to, no beak or anything.
I agree, I thought the menu for Puggo Grande was perfect and really set the mood.
I'm sure the mouse could find a place in a featurette, though.

Special Edition adaptations?
According to the back of the books, they're just "special commemorative issue(s) celebrating the return of the Star Wars trilogy to the big screen."
The inside says "This book was previously published as Star Wars #39-44 by Marvel Comics, Classic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back #1 and 2, and the trade-paperback collection entitled Classic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back."
There are a few pages of concept art/storyboards in the back of the books though that say "Look for these scenes in the Special Edition of..."
What a cooincidence, I just found these two books at the thrift shop last week:

Uh.....what? Seems like you have a pretty limited definition of what Star Wars is.
Well, if by "limited" you mean that I haven't read any of the books, comics, or played most of the games, then yeah =)
Idunno, something about the art design just feels very generic sci-fi and not specific to Star Wars at all.
...and the gameplay looks incredibly boring so far =)
Are there any comparison shots?
I saw Part 2's Blu at the theatre a little while ago, and I didn't really notice much DNR...

Gameplay footage:
So it really is M rated...I don't get how that works. But now that I've seen the video, I see that they're more focused on making a "mature" game than they are making a Star Wars game.
"Get ready to literally be blown away here."
...I don't even know what that literally means. Is he referring to those old Maxell commercials? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DP89iMe0BY
But does "mature" mean "rated M for mature", or does it just mean "not a Lego game"?
Because I can't anything Star Wars related fitting with an M rating.

...I'd stream Rogue Squadron, because I love that game.
I just got number III for the GameCube the other day. Haven't played it very much yet, but the tutorial missions are totally lame.

There weren't a whole lot of games that let you run around with a lightsabre hacking things up back in 1999...
Star Wars: Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight (and the expansion pack, Mysteries of the Sith)
Every time I got to the point where they finally give you the saber, I'd spend a whole lot of time not using any other weapon.

This is great! I was just going through my video collection and came across my Droids and Ewoks DVD's and a VHS of the Droids "The Pirates and the Prince."
I just picked this up from Goodwill the other day, just for the heck of it (never seen any of the cartoons or the Holiday Special). Is it the same as what's on the DVD? Wikipedia doesn't say.
doubleofive said:
That would be a great injustice. I'd expect the stop-motion monsters to be replaced by CGI, and half the Ewoks would blink.
And Wilford Brimley would stop the movie to discuss the real threats of diabetus.
I don't think too many people would object if they digitally removed Wilford Brimley's upskirt pantyshot =|

Does it have the original intro ?
Looks like it was taped off of Showtime or something while they were having a "free preview" or whatever, sometimes a little "To subscribe, call..." message pops up on the bottom.
I have Caravan of Courage taped off TV, though it hardly seems like a worthwhile effort, IMO.
But if anyone really really wants it, I can capture it.

This is one of the very few supposedly bad SW games I haven't played. Is it as bad as Jedi Power Battles?
Little known fact: the Dreamcast version of Jedi Power Battles actually has halfway decent controls. The graphics are vamped up a bit too, but the PSX version wasn't exactly ugly.
Hopefully this is how me and my friends will celebrate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ezeYJUz-84
Yeah, I was hoping, but there's no rush.
I'm still betting this and the 35 come out around the same time frame, though.
I'm guessing this won't be ready in time for May 4 =)
I pray to my life-size golden C3PO idol every morning, afternoon, and evening for about an hour or two.
Other than that, no influence really.
The uncut Canadian episodes have a slightly different watermark (colorful spinning for a second when it first shows up), and the "TV-PG" or whatever rating logo has a maple leaf on it. They also don't have the "what you're about to start watching" bumper at the beginning.
They should run about 25 minutes each.
This reminds me, I need to figure out where my TV version of Loaded Weapon 1 is.
It doesn't help that I never labelled the VHS =|
