I haven’t seen either, but I think it would make sense to turn K9 and Company into an episode of the Sarah-Jane Adventures.

If Vader can be redeemed, just about anyone can be.
Here’s a Scott Pilgrim rescore. I’m putting it here cuz I don’t currently have any plans to make a full edit.
Lucasfilm shouldn’t make Episode X though. The saga will be beyond complete. If they really want more episodes that badly, they should make a new saga, starting at Episode I.
I think that Reylo can and should happen, but it will/would be up to Kylo. He clearly doesn’t know what he wants, and I think that could lead to him running back to Rey.
I don’t think Rey ever had time or a safe place to explore dating on Jakku, (there’s no evidence she ever even had a casual friend) so her discomfort with seeing Ben shirtless made sense to me. The movies would likely never broach the subject, but her fighting skills are as much about keeping lecherous scavengers at bay as it is daily survival on a hostile planet.
So do you guys think she ever had an…unfortunate encounter?
That was a thing? I’ve only heard of it being done with Doctor Who, which made sense since they were serials.
Yeah, start with the antenna, and have Mace speak first in that same shot. This establish how they are communicating. Although really, why not use the hologram from the original film? I guess you don’t want to be seeing things from the Council’s perspective?
The way it’s edited feels painfully fake.
What’s wrong with Ewoks blinking?
While leaving your expectations at the door works well enough, there’s nothing to subvert in that case. Personally, I just go in with realistic expectations. Have yet to be disappointed. I may have hated Solo, but I wasn’t expecting much to begin with.
Jim Sterling recently did a pretty good video
With his vain, condescending attitude, that has to be an oxymoron.
Snooker said it best. And yes, I have seen TCW, and it’s great.
IMO, the opening of RotS is one of the best parts of the saga. It’s not deep, but it’s good, dumb fun.
The real question is whether the ST will be more loved than the PT.
What if you removed the trial framing device for Season 23 and made an abridged Trial of a Timelord the finale instead, revisiting the stories from that season.
The Brigadier dying onscreen is an interesting idea, but honestly, I prefer the way he died offscreen, only for the Doctor to call and find out afterward.
You haven’t seen TFA?
He is able to exit Hyperspace between the Starkiller’s shields and the planet’s crust, a feat lifted from an early script of TPM where only Anakin’s Force ability was able to manage such a thing.
And no, the Force has always consistently been something that anyone can learn, but that some have a natural affinity for. That hasn’t changed.
Then why did Rey just suddenly get her powers, without working for anything? It’s explained very clearly in TLJ as the “darkness rises, and light to meet it”. Since Kylo trained for many years to become a dark lord, Rey must get all those powers within a couple days to restore balance (probably because Luke shut himself out).
Because she has that natural affinity for it I mentioned. That and the fact that she took Force knowledge from Kylo when he searched her mind, something which is unfortunately not made very clear in the film.
All the ending shows is one boy suddenly getting force powers.
There is absolutely nothing to indicate it was sudden. In fact, the way he casually uses the Force seems to indicate he’s been using it for a long time.
She’s learning to use it, hence the dumb reverse grip. It’s made clear when she chops the rock that she doesn’t know how to use it.
What if we made the Guavian Death Gang simply troops of the First Order? The Irish guy could be a Knight of Ren, and the troopers could be special First Order Troopers, providing a reason to reuse such a badass design. Hell, they would’ve made sweet praetorian guards. Alas, none of this is really doable. You’d have to completely replace the Irish guy and the praetorian guards, which is just not possible.
I don’t think TPM is any more prone to edits than the other two Prequels, especially given the whole “TPM is unnecessary” argument.
Anyway, back to the spy idea, when you say that it would be someone neutral just trying to get by, I can’t imagine it being anyone but DJ. It just suits his character so well. However, having him among the Resistance would be incredibly hard to accomplish.

You’re telling me the ST crew actually bothered looking at scripts for the Prequels?
And no, the Force has always consistently been something that anyone can learn, but that some have a natural affinity for. That hasn’t changed.
Because of course they did.
And do what with him? Abandon him in the Cretaceous?
