¯\_(ツ)_/¯
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Totally! What footage would you use, though? There isn’t exactly a direct live-action prequel for most SW movies.
So I’ve talked to a few different people on here about an idea I had for the expansion of the end scene of the crashing Star Destroyers if anyone is interested in helping put it together.
I was thinking a penultimate farewell to the galaxy if this is the end of the main series. Naboo, Geonosis, etc. I thought just taking some clips from the past and editing the falling Star Destroyer in the background would be a better way to end it, try to rival ROTJ. Add in some cheers and the Throne Room Theme from ANH as the background music for all the clips.
I had considered the night scene of Theed from the end of Episode 1. For Geonosis, the cliff scene overlooking the hive when Obi-Wan arrives. Takodana, take the clip in TFA of Maz’s castle with all the flags and Utapau can be from some of the trailers. Either the night scene of the Stormtroopers on the walkers or day scene before the battle begins could work for Kashyyyk. Idk if you would want any TCW planets.
I really don’t see why we can’t put the RotJ SE celebration here instead. It’s much more up to snuff, and leaving it in RotJ feels like one big lie/premature celebration now that the ST exists.
I’m hesitant to remove the Finn having something to say thing because it’s a good chunk of what implies he’s Force sensitive.
I saw the whole movie and not once did I think Finn was Force sensitive. Honestly, does that really matter as a plot point? It doesn’t really contribute anything. Besides, the Force dwells in all living things, it’s not binary.
Removing Klaud from two shots
So from the whole movie.
My dad loves it, and he’s really into sci-fi. Do you like sci-fi usually? And no, Star Wars doesn’t count. I mean like Star Trek or Asimov.
Hey, if it can be done right, I’d take it.
And which songs would those be?
The Mandalorian is just okay and the ST is more interesting.
You jest, but TFA actually came close to featuring Luke’s hand in an opening montage that tracked the saber’s journey.
Can we get a Snoke force ghost on Tatooine with Luke and Leia?
What about an Elan Sleazebaggano Force ghost.
Lord Ren?
It would be Lord Kylo, as they’re all Ren. And he’s not a lord like Sith are.
If only there were some deleted scenes of exactly that they could release…hm…
You’re Gonna Go Far Kid over Palpatine doing his Prequel puppetry. The song’s practically tailor-made for him.
"And no one even knew
It was really only you"
"With a thousand lies and a good disguise
See the lightning in their eyes
See 'em running for their lives"
Viva la Vida over Order 66 is a must.
Has anyone thought of replacing Leia’s lightsaber with Rey’s yellow saber from the end of the film? Leia’s Jedi training always seemed strangely out of place to me.
I don’t think they should ever refer to Kylo as Kylo Ren. They are all Knights of Ren, so the Ren is implied.
Anyway, I think the fact that Ben doesn’t say a word during the final confrontation is an issue, if we have the other knights constantly talking to him. He should have some sort of one word response to “What? How?/That’s not fair.” when he does his nod. Do you think it would work with his existing lip movements (or rather lack thereof)?
KoR: “What? Is that Skywalker’s lightsaber?”
Ben: “Yup.”
Something like that.
I’m adding a soundtrack from every movie to TROS so here’s a clip using Dual of the fates…

It’s exactly what I did only you did it better.
What are planning for the other films’ music? I’m assuming Across the Stars for the Reylo kiss and Battle of the Heroes for the Death Star duel?
The same could be said about hip hop.
TBF, Lord and Miller would probably have genuinely good one-liners.
I like Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 more than Sonic 3/& Knuckles.
I’ve only ever played Colors and a bit Sonic 1 on mobile, lol.
The former had a killer soundtrack, though. I should give Unleashed a try, but I’ve never felt the drive since to actively go through the trouble of playing a Sonic game. Not my thing, I guess? I mean, I enjoyed Colors, but I guess not enough to seek out more.
I do listen to a couple of George Harrison’s solo songs. My cousin likes Supertramp.
I’m into more intense music, though. Anyone like the song Golden Liar? Here’s a taste of the sorta rock I like.
It’s not just the art. Everything about how it’s written is drastically different. It’s like putting Caravan of Courage in the OT.
Last Surprise for Duel of the Fates
“You’ll never see it comiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing”
Stabs Qui-Gon
Wait, how did you make that? What was the source? It looks completely unedited to me, which is a good thing. It means it seamless.
I don’t think that’s the problem. The shots themselves are a nice length, the problem is that the movie goes frantically between plot points with no time to breathe. Removing and/or reshuffling those plot points would be much better for pacing than artificial slo-mo.
I second this. The way the film is shot is fine. The key is in the editing.
