Lol at including an animated character in a live-action sequence. Jarring as hell. Otherwise this is promising.

Lol, that clip is so old I’d already commented on it. As one of said comments suggests, I’d rather give lightsabers to the Knights Ren.
I always have the impression that Kathleen Kennedy cares more about girl power than understanding star wars as a whole.
You know, sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s a genuine intention she’s expressing when making the thing and what’s just marketing buzzwords. She could easily just be talking girl power to drum up hype with wokeys without actually factoring it into the creative process. It’s like when a company changes their logo to be rainbow colored for “Pride Month” (which itself is a disgustingly consumerist concept). It’s not a political stance, it’s “Look, we’re just like you! Buy our product!” I think the same can apply here. They talked up the “diversity” of the Rogue One cast big time in the lead-up to its release, for example. Just ignore the marketing buzz.
The flag of Nazi Germany looks absolutely awesome but we can never use it because…well, you know.
Shit, am I gonna get banned again?
I just finished watching Kill Bill with my dad. Strange movie. Completely ridiculous yet takes itself seriously and does all kinda weird stylistic choice. I just don’t know what to make of it. I guess it made good use of non-chronological editing.
Oh yes, let’s whitewash the little brown kid to look like a young Joel Edgerton. What could possibly go wrong?
In all seriousness tho, it might be passable if you could get the skin tone and hair to match, but like I said, might trigger some people.
The washing machine broke so I hadn’t be able to clean my laundry in days. We finally got a new one yesterday so I did a load of laundry with absolutely all my socks and underwear save the pair I was wearing. Then I get outta the shower today to find my brother left for his weekend getaway with literally the entire thing. How can people be so reckless and retarded? No matter how many times I tell him not to take my laundry, he keeps doing it. I’m gonna have to label at this point. If I could make it electrocute him for taking it I would at this point.
Nah, I think it’s more believable that the accents would vary. Some British characters are with the Rebels. It’s a rule of thumb, not an absolute rule.
What do we do in this post-reality world where nothing in the physical world has any value? We’re glued to our screens because the only that amuses our adult brains are concepts, not objects. We ascend above materialism yet at the same time detach our tether to reality. Even when hanging out with friends most of the time comes down to just talking, which is a conceptual thing, not a physical one. Being physically at this or that restaurant does not do much for the experience does it? Eh, I guess it does, but only so much. What do we need from the physical world? Is travel the answer? Travel is always fun.
It looks great! I’m putting it in my “using this for my edits” folder.
Nah, he just kinda knocks Palpatine over and leaves for continuity with him being alive in TRoS.
This is scandalous. How dare you exclude the kitchen sink?!
As it stands with the prequels, apparently the only direct visible appearance of the Force is with force lightning, and that seems a little disappointing.
Tbf, every movie introduced some sort of Force ability, including the Prequels. Most of them aren’t visible because the Force itself isn’t visible.
ANH: Mind Trick
TESB: Telekinesis
RotJ: Lightning
TPM: Speed
AotC: Lightning Absorption
RotS: Plagueis Deeplore
TFA: Freezing Blaster Bolts
TLJ: Projection
TRoS: Dyads
But why? Does it really need to be an ability unique to him?
That sentence is a little hard to read. What are you saying?
Pile on all the endings to Clue back-to-back while you’re at it.
No, no, I think there’s an argument to be made for bringing the Originals in line with modern aesthetic standard of the other two trilogies for consistency. Nobody on this forum is gonna advocate erasing the original cuts, so where’s the harm in it?

That’s quitter talk. You did it once, you can do it again! And the great thing is when your expectations for yourself are rock bottom, it’s easy to make yourself feel proud of the slightest improvement, which motivate you to make more positive change.
Morbid poetry is poetry nonetheless.
That’s actually what I did for my edit using the dreadnought from TLJ.
You say that like destroying it with a star destroyer is better than doing it with Starkiller Base.
Probably because it looks better that way, at least in the Imperial facilities. It’s not exactly TRoS color grading.
Idk, I really like the poetry of offing one member of the trio in each film.
