So Kylo is dead? Roll credits.
So Kylo is dead? Roll credits.
Great job, Snooker! Isn’t infiltrating in broad daylight kind of anti-climactic, though?
[Double Post]
Kylo Ren reveals to Rey who her father really is…Willrow Hood!
Hopefully they just stop.
I enjoyed 7, mostly disliked 8, and currently feel really very little one way or the other towards 9.
Rogue One was an interesting side show but I didn’t bother with solo.
So yeah… just make it stop.
You shouldn’t take your frustrations out on Solo. It’s actually a fun movie in spite of it’s troubled production history.
Well half of that statement’s right.
And I’ve taken to calling Anakin Skywalker “American Skywalker” for the fact that despite his crass immaturity and blatant lack of respect for anyone or anything, everyone not only tolerates him, but celebrates him - honestly I don’t know how he was granted knighthood. He behaves less like a Jedi than any other Jedi onscreen, in any adaptation.
I don’t see why take such big issue with him. He never struck me as immature, and was miles above his movie counterpart. Shame they didn’t get a similar voice, cuz now they seem like two completely different characters.
No need to even mash them up. I think stories in the style of Star Trek (but less sci-fi) and Indiana Jones would both neat to see.
I second that. At various times, he’s said the sgag had 6, 9, and 12 episodes.
Well my name is Anakin…
Not for long.
Yeah, but I was referring to the episodic films.
No, you guys did exactly I wanted…it’s just the logo doesn’t look particularly great that way.
Of course, they’ll keep making Star Wars Stories, but what about the saga films? I can’t imagine them not making more after another ten ears or so. When that time comes, what should they do? Just another trilogy? Trilogies until the end of time? Or should we shake things up after having closed the book on a trilogy of trilogies and do a pentalogy?
I guess that old ANH one works. It appears to be the same as Clude’s, but I guess it’s grown on me. Sorry for initial harshness. I should really work on that.
I’ve managed to see Phil’s logo…it’s just the regular SW logo.
I’m not very impressed with yours.
Phildesfr’s link won’t load.
I think a collab would be nice.
We agree the logos should all be yellow, right?
I’d love to take a stab at a Lighter and Brighter Edition, which tries to draw out the joy of childhood in a magical boarding school.
That’s what exactly what I hope to accomplish.
I’m glad someone else agrees with me about the color. I much prefer the warm tones of Columbus and Newell to the dark, blue, desaturated look of Cuaron and Yates.
I’d always been intending to use certain themes more consistently throughout the series in my Harry Potter edits. However, this video series has convinced me to go all out. This thread is about assigning meaning to various existing themes to be used more often and developped into proper leitmotifs. Everyone can contribute. There will not be any actual edit for this (unless you count mine, which will vary in far more ways than this). It’s just a resource for faneditors to use. Here’s what we’ve got so far:
Existing Connections:
Hedwig’s Theme - Main Theme
Leaving Hogwarts - Friends/Family (I suggest using it throughout the series rather than just in 1&2)
The Face of Voldemort - Voldemort’s Theme (Same here)
A Window to the Past - The Marauders
Fireworks - The Weasley Twins
Proposed Connections:
Fawkes the Phoenix - Dumbledore’s Theme
Fred and George (OotP Game) - Also the Weasley Twins
The Burrow (CoS Game) - The Burrow/The Weasleys (suggested by Harold Flower)
Existing Themes:
Harry’s Wondrous World
Buckbeak’s Flight
Harry in Winter
Return to Hogwarts (HBP video game)
Lily’s Theme (I propose reworking it into a variant of A Window to the Past)
Proposed Themes:
Quirrel’s Theme
Lupin’s Theme
Snape’s Theme
Neville’s Theme
The Order of the Phoenix
Draco’s Theme
Horcrux Theme (we could just use Voldemort’s Theme for this)
The Deathly Hallows
I haven’t seen much 80s animation, given I wasn’t born yet, and haven’t seen and reason to visit the era of cartoons based on toys.
By far the worst I’ve seen for stock footage was the godawful first season of Code Lyoko (an otherwise great show), and that was from the 00s.
Did they really? 80s cartoons must’ve looked really really bad then.
Love or hate Clone Wars, George Lucas was practically burning money to make it possible. Towards the end, the show was running at a loss. Without Lucas’s passion and endless wealth, they had tone things down.
It ain’t a radical redux thread without Paja spewing a constant stream of pointless recolors. Welcome to the thread.
