3D STAR WARS for the masses...has ARRIVED!

I guarantee you that if he poured the money for the 3D conversion of all 6 films into restoring the OUT instead, and released it in a Blu-Ray box along with the 1997 SEs, 2004 SEs, and the 2011 SEs (assuming there will be more changes), he'd make all his money back and more.

I'm not sure how can you give me any guarantee about that. I know you wouldn't be the only one to buy it. I would assume almost everyone on this forum would. Including me.

I've got to admit, this all makes me sick. Not the 3D part of it as i would go and watch the OT in 3D if just for the fact that it's on the big screen. No, it's the fact that the OT in 3D won't happen unless the Prequels do well. Talk about kicking us OT fans in the balls again. So he's basically saying to us that we have to support the PT3D or we won't get the OT3D. So we can probably place a safe bet that the OT3D just ain't going to happen. There is no way i'm going to pay to see the PT on the big screen ever again. The only way i would sit through it would be purely for novelty value and only if it was either a cut price showing or free.

But wait a minute, didn't GL say that the reason that we can't have a restored OUT is because "it's too expensive"?. But it's ok to spend all the money to make these films 3D? How can it be too expensive to restore the OUT when he would easily recoup his money from the blu-ray / DVD sales. Pure and simple he wants the OUT buried

There is no reason to think that you have to pay for the PT to see the OT. The conversion is already being made, and it was announced already that all six films will be converted.

As for the OUT, he may think it's too expensive considering how much profit will it make. It could not cover the price of restoration. That's what I think he means, I can be wrong.

Last week's episode wasn't terrible. Sure, it was Jar Jar, but he did what he does best, and they freaking went to Toydaria! I love Toydarians! The Jedi responsible for the Twi'leks was also great, brought a tear to my eye by the end.

"Supply Lines" was a great episode. Not only they got Jar Jar right, but the last stand of Master Di makes it one of my favourite moments of the whole series.

That and "ARC Troopers" are the best episodes so far. And that includes the latest "Sphere of Influence".

I didn't find it crappy at all. It doesn't compare to the movies of course, but it was far better than CW 3D in terms of storytelling, and at least it did respect the movies and the EU.

The Genndy cartoon had no storytelling, and it didn't respect the EU all the time (thankfully). As for respecting the movies, both cartoons did. And who cares for the EU?

Adywan, keep doing this great work with the OT.

When did you realize the Prequels sucked?
Time

I don't think the prequels sucks. I think they have worst acting than the OT, but as movies they are not bad. They just didn't brought back those who saw the OT in theaters to their childhood memories. Also, I believe many who say that the prequels suck were influenced by some bashers over the years. When I came out from the theaters in '99, I remember that everyone applauded, and the reactions of the public when interviewed at the end was mostly positive. Liking the prequels is not cheating the OT movies, as some may think.

I'm pretty sure there's some hate for the prequels here...

Look, I generally defend the prequels (at least in good fanedit form), but you gotta remember what website you are on.  This ain't bothtrilogies.com.

I know. But being an OT fan doesn't mean that I have to hate the PT or anything that came with/after it. But I respect everyone's opinions of course.

for the cloaking device debate, the sith infiltrator, maul's ship, was a craft developed by the sith and since it was created by the sith, it has a cloaking device. the sith aren't retards and they needed to keep a low profile. i'm sure someone would've noticed a sith infilitrator taking off out of couruscant traffic. its a bit noticeable.

and ady, no offense to u, but u can't take everyline in a movie, in this case ESB, seriously.

I'm with Adywan. It's the EU that needs to respect the movies, not the movies that need to respect the EU. Unfortunately, I think we see the Sith Infiltrator uncloaking when it arrives to Tattooine (in space). But I will wait until Ady makes TPM:R and fix that.

The first page is completely updated with every change Ady is doing.  It should be the first place anyone goes.  Even those who have been here the whole time.

Although I only registered now, I've been reading this forum for a year.

I read the first page but I didn't notice that change, that's why I posted. Sorry once again. Mistakes happens.
