ABC, there seems to be problems with a few links to the new samples:(
I know that Megaup use to check the sources of the downloads and don't like forums too much... Try something: copy and paste the URL in your nagigator field. Someone who couldn't download the OE through PM links finally tried this way and it worked.
Otherwise I suggest you wait and try again later as it seems they're not really dead.
... That reminds me I have to remove "Escape from Bespin" from the samples.

Please. "Everyone" does not include ABC. Even if he were to apologize (which he won't, since he did nothing wrong), I know he'd just end up on my ignore list again the next time he posted NSFW (which he would).
You can't ignore ABC... But nice try.

Oh, ok.
Since things have slowed a bit in here, and I can't have that...

I have an idea that would make things even easier. We all know that speaking Japanese is 500 times easier than reading Japanese. So I would suggest you simply learn to speak Japanese, then fly to Japan with that image and ask people on the street to read it to you.
Come to think of it, the simplest thing to do would be to track down the original creator, who presumably would be able to read it, having written it.
I'll try to think of more helpful ideas later.
I can't believe you have all missed the easiest, simplest solution. All you need to do is invent a time machine, then go back in time to a period when Karyudo was a more active member on the forum. About three to four years should do it. Then just start a thread by posting your original query above, and wait for him to answer.
Simplest: I'll ask a japanese for you.
Removed (problem solved).
... Wow, great post (for me) ESF, I'm honoured. I wish I "knew how to fix" things on every single track (!)

Good to see you add those harps, this is Perfection ;)
Aha, yeah... But that's where the mixes really differ, so it's really a subtlety as I had to fade them in cause they would sound too much in the foreground while they're in the background on the RSO. Anyway, it works great.

Note:Even more so then tea. (I noticed, and remembered that she was most likely drinking tea in the photo. Woops!)
As far as it is not chocolate it's ok: there's a lot of cafeine in tea ! ;)
What is boob saget ?

Well, I guess this thread is useful after all. Without it, I would have had no idea that New Jersey had a Male Pageant.
... Among other things you may have learned. :)
True. I wouldn't have known you are a troll.
Well. May your thread be one day about fairplay.

Well, I can be a good judge at that, because Deutsche Grammophon has a lot of my money.
Then I would be tempted to up a bit more just for you to tell me ;)

... roycommi, Thanks. ;) If you're able to appreciate the sound more than you usually did with that score it's quite enough. No need to be a "hyper-specialist" !

question.. what's the difference between the is set and the other two (three?) sets you have already released?
In a way, EyeShotFirst gives you clues with his feedback for the samples (he knows my work). 'Hope the whole set will make such a difference.
Also, please check the remixing details and compare with those on the OE thread (You'll notice that I used all the RSO sources in many ways).
Now, if you've downloaded the samples and can't make the difference, you can "go about you buiseness" :) (and I mean it if you equipement fo listening stops with your PC)... Remembering the exemple track you gave for what you'd have liked for an eventually "Return of The Jedi" OE, I must say I can't really catch what is your criterium for quality. Just take it easy... No arm.

It sounds like something Deutsche Grammophon would release.
... You've won a set !... lol ! Great.
(EDIT) More seriously thanks for this somehow "useful" input ;)
The Duel sounds so much more like the real instruments...
Funny to notice I recentered the stereo on these two RSO tracks that retained your attention. Indeed, one channel was louder than the other on the two last segments for the Duel , what can be OK in some cases but here I didn't understand how a full orchestral swashbuckling piece could sound louder mostly on one side. Then, making so really gives back the right place to the instruments.
I'm actually experiencing the same thing on Betrayal at Bespin wich has the percussions "I don't know where" in the middle. Having recentered the stereo gave it back at its place, in the background left according to its real place in the orchestra, not to mention the other ones of course. The tough matter is that those corrections change my EQ's settings...

Thanks for the sample
You're welcome. FYI Yoda's theme is going to be the very same than the OE v2. It's Deutsche Grammophon-like enough :)
Mmmm... By the way, this discussion makes me think of this book wich is about to come out this summer... In the wait of the M. Parbot clips that should be quite interesting:

I honestly have NO idea what you are saying to me
Haha ! Of course not it has nothing insulting nor orientated to you, I edited my post to avoid any confusion. You can make so.
Take it like a shout at the buiseness who offers such wonderful releases.
it just seems a shame to put time and effort into it and talk about it in a thread to not share, but it is your call.
I won't keep anyone to share at will. One of the most notable feedback I had is from a person who found it outside and registered especially to let me know (I'm speaking about the horn player who played with the LSO).
However you conclude pretty fast. I haven't spoke yet.

Hey D_J, just at time !
I forgot to mention the "IM" has been up especially for you. Compared to the OE v.3 it is less loud (bass), less shiny too, what finally makes it deeper. It is the most equilibrated version I can do with it, though CD3 may offer a slight adjustment.
___
For your question, I'll probably answer in the OP post when ready as I don't know yet the definitive answer. And I'll edit it when all the work is totally over.
That said, you perhaps wonder why I insist on "buiding" such a thread when you know how far I'm disapointed to read less than 10 feedbacks after about 4 months of share and 3 versions easily foundable of the previous "Optimum Edition"... Don't worry, I wonder myself !
The only answer I can find is that I'm certainly of this race of people who loves authenticity and well done craft, and whose way to ask for it is to show what I mean with the best exemple I can give.
...
BUNCH OF SAMPLES ADDED. (See list)
Beware, the "Rebel Fleet / End Title" is the old one (it misses the first harp notes announced).
I can't resist to a last one dedcated to Frink's culture...
Let me tell you the whole story:
When I was young, about four or five, we had an ATARI 2600 console at home. We had a few games, not much, but fortunately my father could hire video games at his work.
One day I saw my father and brother playing a curious video game: a yellow guy (no, another one) in the middle of a labyrinth was supposed to return to the center of it. There were many obstacles like denture and scissors. Each time my familly tried they failed. Of course I wanted to play to !
- "Hey, funny... I want to play ! Hey why the little man has a machine gun?" (hard to identify what he used to strike the walls with in fact)
- "Get away ABC ! You're to young to play this game!"
-"Well, let him play anyway... He won't last for long".
...
Then they leaved the joystick to me and I played... And I was good !... Very good even.
... I won three rounds under the stuned eyes of my familly !
They were laughing to death...
ROUND 1:
ROUND 2
ROUND 3:
... That was called:

Nothing wrong with that one IMO, reminds me of this Gina G CD cover.
Yeah, I see. So, we agree all this is a matter of culture ! ;) I'm glad.
... It's true the one I replaced could remind another kind of litterature, even if there was not much to see.
However about the painting I warn you that many little scuptures you may see in Europeen cathedrals or churches are "potentialy NSFW" too (mostly for yellow people though... They could turn red !).
And FYI, Frink didn't come crying to me, I saw the comments about asses and boobs in one of your preservation threads and decided to investigate.
Ah. His behaviour on my thread let me think he tormented you for those as well so sure he looked.
I guess you're not the only one to have investigated (I rode a nice PM)... Must be said for discretion Frink knocked at the wrong door and I didn't mention those image at loud innocentely... Nothing to hide = nothing to lose. :)
Thanks for clarifications anyway, and sorry for the fuss.
