Just the fact that this has its own pannel, web page and forum speaks volumes. Are these people really that blind? It is all right in front of their faces! I don't understand it. I couldn't even finish reading it. It is depressing.

I too say the Holiday Special before Star Wars. I was 5 and remember watching it with my dad and sister. We went to see the movie shortly after, and I quickly forgot about the HS. I watched it again a few years back, and those terrible images now haunt me again!
I got my AT-AT 2 weeks ago and havent opened the box yet!

How does he sound "softer" about anything? The man's a fucking billionaire. He doesn't "need" money for anything. He could wave his hand and have the OOT restored by next month. He doesn't want to do it. He's not going to do it. The end.
I mean he doesn't flat out say they don't exist anymore. Now he's saying it's too expensive and something to the fact that unfortunately the SE are more important right now ( I can't remember the exact quote) The need money thing was tongue in cheek - of course he doesn't need it.
My guess is that the deleted scenes will be all polished up with added CGI like the prequel "deleted" scenes. Because that was his original vision.
