Windows Vista
Time
I have heard nothing but horror stories about Vista. I have been using XP for many years now and I find it very stable and reliable. I wouldn't touch Vista for at least a year. Until the major bugs are fixed. If I were you, I'd go with XP. With Vist out now, you should be able to find it for a good price.

Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN

Yes, when I first saw the Exorcist, I was very young and it freaked me out! I will agree that is the scariest. I will also say the original Blair Witch Project. I like the way they played the 'fear of the unknown' and unseen for that matter. I find that movies that play with your imagination have greater impact, because there is nothing more vivid than the imagination.

Check out the trailer here.

Are there any fans of the original here? What do you think of the "re-telling"? Will you go see it? I am a huge fan of the original. I am so tired of movies being re-made, but I may go see this one. I like House of 1000 Corpses, even though it wasn't much more that the original Chainsaw Massacre.

I love the original as well. Saw the trailer for this with Grindhouse and it did look intense. Malcolm McDowell sounds like the perfect replacement for Donald Pleasance.

I agree. Looks like they did a good job on casting. A long time ago I heard a rumor that Jamie Lee Curtis was going to make a cameo, but I don't think it's true.

Not to knock the project, in fact I fully support it, however my GOUT looks completely different that the one posted here.

It looks just as dirty, just a bit different in color. Did you take the cap with PowerDVD? That would account for the color difference, that program "enhances" color by default.

Yes, but I have the colour enhance turned off.

If the point was to make them look like the GOUT, then might as well just use the GOUT. The goal of the project has been to make the best possible version of the OT, which the GOUT most certainly is not. No, those pictures shouldn't look like the GOUT at all. And they don't. They look better.

Uh, so when are those T-Shirts coming?

What I'm saying is that the GOUT captures look different. Not that they look "like" the GOUT.

OK joke over. Sorry it stayed up so long. I guess you could say we stuck it out a little longer than normal to symbolize our legendary commitment to what we do and our usual seemingly-glacial pace.

We're not quitting and the project is not canceled.

Besides, if you were able to get quality shots like this from a laserdisc, I don't think you'd quit either:

The main site will be updated with new content and a few new surprises as soon as I can get to it.
