I love the original as well. Saw the trailer for this with Grindhouse and it did look intense. Malcolm McDowell sounds like the perfect replacement for Donald Pleasance.
I agree. Looks like they did a good job on casting. A long time ago I heard a rumor that Jamie Lee Curtis was going to make a cameo, but I don't think it's true.

It looks just as dirty, just a bit different in color. Did you take the cap with PowerDVD? That would account for the color difference, that program "enhances" color by default.
Yes, but I have the colour enhance turned off.

OK joke over. Sorry it stayed up so long. I guess you could say we stuck it out a little longer than normal to symbolize our legendary commitment to what we do and our usual seemingly-glacial pace.

We're not quitting and the project is not canceled.

Besides, if you were able to get quality shots like this from a laserdisc, I don't think you'd quit either:
