And if so, do they go to the parents and say, "Sorry, we have to take him. The force is strong with him. Say good-buy".

Taking a child for free probably is indeed considered a good buy.

LOL That made me laugh!

Maybe the Jedi "produce" there own babies and keep the "strong" ones.

I'm very much a fan of high quality audio, but I will defy anyone to tell the difference between uncompressed and a 256 bitrate MP3... test after test has shown you just can't tell.

If any of you have reference, $10,000 home audio systems and swear you can hear the difference, I'll come to your house and if you can hear the difference between the original LP and these MP3s in a blind, A/B test, I'll GIVE you the record!

Is that a promise? Come over and I'll put through my vintage Warfedales. BIG difference. Don't get me wrong, I think MP3s are still great. Especially for the iPod and casual listening. But nothing beats sitting in the "listening room" and turning up the 'uncompressed' sound.

Just a random thought here. To quote Qui-Gonn from Episode I (RE: Anakin), "Had he been born under the Republic we would have identified him early". What do you think this means? Is the Jedi Counsel monitoring babies all over the galaxy looking for future Jedi? And if so, do they go to the parents and say, "Sorry, we have to take him. The force is strong with him. Say good-buy". Now, that being said, do the Jedi have families? Is Obi-Wan still in touch with his parents? It doesn't seem so. So, was he taken from his parents at an early age to become a Jedi? When they get old do they not start asking question about where they are from etc.? What do you guys think?

1980 Empire RSO 2 LP set (Released)

I have the 2 record set. A few years ago I did a straight copy to CD. However, I plan on re-doing it and running it through some snap, crackle & pop software to clean it up as much as I can. Actually, I plan on doing it for the 2 record Star Wars set and the Jedi set as well, if I can find the time. You can fit the full soundtrack on 1 CD, so it's a nice listen.
