New Star Wars Movie...

Peter Jackson? Oh, Jeesus, no. That's just what the world needs - another bloated, overlong, self-indulgent, self-important series of movies from a man who seems to have purged the word "edit suite" from his vocabulary.

Now now, it's not his fault that he was sold cameras that seemed to be stuck capturing film at 200fps...

Was it just me, or was that entire trilogy in fucking slow motion!??

Not just you. The trilogy could have been edited down to one great movie.

Three questions for Geroge
Time
If you could ask George Lucas any three questions, what would they be? For me it would be...

    1
Why won't you preserve the OOT by today's standards?
    2
Did you watch the original trilogy before/while you were writing the prequels?
    3
Do you pay attention to the huge Star Wars fan base and listen to what they say, or do you ignore all that and just do what you want?

Do the Jedi steal children?

This whole creating life with midichlorians contributed to Anakin's turn because he was told that the dark side has the knowlegde to create life from midichlorians. Aankin had a dream where Padme dies in childbirth; unwilling to lose Padme, he turns to Palpatine and betrays the Jedi to try to save Padme's life, whether she was in danger or not. So essentially, the creation of life could prevent Padme's "death" by resurrecting her, and his attachment to her did him in. Does that explain your question Mark?

From a certain point of view. Except I think Anakin was always meant to be on the dark side. He was conceived to be sith. So, no matter what 'path' he followed, ultimately he would become evil. Padme or no Padme.

If you claim that Anakin was created by Palegius or Palpatine, then you are inherently accepting the concept of midichlorians, and therefore, believe that Jedi have lukemia and this gives them their powers. Plus, it was barely implied that Anakin was created by whatever Sith lord by manipulating midichlorians- it was just a pointless drivel to half-assedly explain Anakin's turn to the dark side. This is yet another point how ROTS ruined the SW saga yet again.

How does that explain Anakin's turn at all? How he was conceived has nothing to do with it.

So Sidious created Maul and Dooku? Come on. The only one who was "created" as Anakin. Thats why he is refered to as "the chosen one". Plageus was able to do it once, Palpatine knew Anakin would be all powerful, killed Plageus and waited patiently. Plageus could cheat death, so who knows how old Palpatine really is or how far back he goes. The Sith's one ultimate creation will be there un-doing.
