Arndt's script was based at least in part on Lucas's outlines, yes? I wonder how much of that makes it to the screen. I'm hoping somewhere down the road we get an in-depth look at the evolution of the screenplay.

More concept art just got leaked. More spaceships. Said to be V-Wings, C-Wings, U-Wings, and an alternate X-Wing.

All the new ships appear to have astromechs. Again a return to nostalgia rather than going forward with the astromech-less designs of the A-Wing and B-Wing from Return of the Jedi.
New tease. It looks like we're going to be getting a lot of little bits between now and the theatrical trailer tomorrow night.

I really hope that poster is fake. If there is going to be a DS3 then I'm going to puke!
Having the red lightsaber blade parallel to Rey's staff is really confusing to the eye, and should be something that a professional artist would not do. That should indicate that it is a fake.
However... I thought that the shots of the Ep3 Emperor's awful makeup were fake, and that Hayden inserted into ROTJ was fake, so I might be wrong.
Edit: Awww.. Goddamnit!
Having Rylo's and Rey's staff parallel to each may be deliberate for a reason.
Not to be hard on you, but wouldn't "deliberate" and "for a reason" mean the same thing ? ;)

Not much, but kind of fascinating.

Certainly.
Also, is this our first look at the Starkiller base? Oh, and Maz. Quite different from the concept art, it seems.
The poster looks awesome! Cannot wait to see the trailer tomorrow!
I'm really not looking forward to a third Death Star, but the rest looks great.
Before people start really flying off the handle, try thinking in universe for a moment. Design flaws aside, the Death Star is an effective weapon for scaring planets into submission. And flaws can be fixed.
The know how to make one doesn't magically go away. It's like a nuclear weapon, once the genie is out of the bottle, somebody sooner or later is going to want to build one.
And how do we know this one belongs to the Empire? They aren't the only ones with a copy of the original technical readouts. ;)
Also what is up with Leia's hair? I'm getting a Mom from Futurama vibe here.
Where were you in '77?

Another Death Star. JJ and Kasdan have decided to just copy everything from the original trilogy it seems. Nothing to really get excited about, is there?
Nope.

STARKILLER BASE
An ice planet converted into a stronghold of the First Order and armed with a fiercely destructive new weapon capable of destroying entire star systems.
Oh, entire star systems. They've really upped the ante, haven't they?

Well, it has been 30 years after all.

That was misleading. Also, go Bears.
Teasers for a trailer?
It's a teaseler.

I can't agree more with this. If weapons technology that can destroy entire planets exists it would seems stupid to not follow up on and improve that technology. It would be like if after WWII we decided that Atom bomb was old hat and never developed nuclear weapon technology any further. While It may seems lazy from a storytelling perspective at first sight, we don't know how exactly the weapon will factor into the film, that plot structure could be quite different.

Dr. Seuss beat you both to it.
No complaints here. It's quite possible this is the sequel I've been waiting on for 35 years.
The one-sheet fits the style of the times. We won't ever get a Jung style again. That's a drag, but FAR from a deal-breaker.

Kevin J. Anderson felt the same way.
Weird, I saw this earlier this evening when it aired and didn't really snap to what I was seeing. Not until I read about it, did I realized. I was getting my gym clothes ready and only looked up when I heard the TIEs.

ANOTHER Death Star? Patter recognition is not strong with this one...
