I thought young Beru was hot. I'd perform the "binary sunset" on her any day!

Please elaborate on what the "binary sunset" is and what it entails, and do not - do NOT - skimp on the juicy details please.

You need three people. Two go down...

While their son watches, listening to John Williams.

Son of the Suns, eh?

So... there you have it.

No, I'm not Darth Bizarro. I don't recall replying to a comment not directed to me. Which one was it?

Alexrd:

twooffour said (to Darth Bizarro): OT.com doesn't seem to be the radical prequel hating community you (Darth Bizarro) are talking about here

Unfortunately, some members can't help it, and the first page of this sub-forum is an example of that.

Since you asked.

I had made the mistake of connecting the 'you' referred to by twooffour to 'you' the Alexrd who took up the opposing end of the discussion at that point.  So while you did not say that most people here were bashers... you were providing counterpoint to someone who said they weren't.

Though, after having quoted this same passage of yours several times now... Some members can't help it?  I can only imagine I'm one of these members... but I'm not sure what it is I can't help...  ???  Is the idea that I'm trying not to dislike the prequels, or, at least, trying to not post about it, but that every so often (or very often, perhaps) it comes bursting from me like some kind of uncontrollable PT hating form of tourette's?

WHY ALL THE TOLKIEN HATE IN HERE?  HIS BOOKS ARE VERY WELL WRITTEN.  AS FAR AS THE OPINION THAT  HIS STUFF IS HARD TO READ GOES, IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST A THIRD GRADE READING LEVEL THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY DIFFICULTY READING HIS BOOKS.

Hard to read?  Or unenjoyable?

I don't know that anyone here is saying they don't comprehend his writings.  But in the case of the 1,000 year history of Gondor being laid out by a gate guard RIGHT BEFORE THE END OF HUMANITY AND THE (middle) EARTH ITSELF*!

I just think that's bad pacing.

Oh, I'm sorry.  I must have misunderstood.

What was your point then?  I took this:

As some form of "most people here are just bashers and all they do is bash".

Maybe I should clarify it:

Alexrd:

Although it may seem that way, unfortunately some members can't help it, and the first page of this sub-forum is an example of that.

Hell, I even... oh, and I can't believe I'm admitting this, but at 11 years old, I even enjoyed "Jedi Rocks."  So much so that I used to run my ROTJ tape back and watch it over and over and over again.  Aaaaand I hate myself.

It's okay.  Girls can get away with those kind of flaws when they're young.  And now that you're older and wiser and still a big geek, it's just sort of cute.

I'm actually quite jealous- I could never get away revealing something like that.  As a guy, I'd get torn to pieces and ridiculed incessantly.

We wouldn't be as hard on you as we will be on bkev for using "halfsies" a couple of posts later.

I know, right?  Ooops... I'm late for my Mani-pedi.

I find this "all people are bigots comments" distressing.  I'm pretty sure there's a few people in Minnesota who aren't bigots.

I swear!  I didn't know my first wife was still alive after that plane crash and that she'd been living on an island for the past five years!  SHE WAS LEGALLY DECLARED DEAD!  I moved on and married another woman.  I'M SORRY!  But now my first wife is back and... well... I guess that makes me a bigot.

But it's not like she's totally innocent in the matter.... OH NO!  Turns outs my little "Eve" was hanging out with a different "Adam" the whole time.  Or Chuck Connors, or Randolph Scott or whatever his name was.

YAY!!! Glad you were still able to do the vault.

Don't miss that Bobble head in Raven Rock (or whatever the Combine base is called). Once you leave that place you can never go back.

Yep, I'm just down to just these two Bobbleheads: Vault 101's and Raven Rock's.  Unless any other glitches come my way... I'm ready for the trials!

I'm curious, [CE](3?)[PR](3?)(i?)[CSX]/i, which solutions to the Tranquility Lane, Oasis, and Pitt quests did you go with and why?

And then you claim you didn't start off-topic personal nonsense...except for calling into question one of xhonzi's approaches to parenting, of course.

Is it me or does 2/4 seem to have an unhealthy obsession with xhonzi's parenting approaches?

Good thing he didn't witness all the child beatings I did when I visited.

ENOUGH, YOU!  OR IT GETS THE BELT AGAIN!

Yes, and there are also other guys insisting how awesome Qui-Gon Jinn was and that makes the movie as good as ROTJ.

It's just their opinion. How is that related to what I said?

Because my point was that this community isn't made of prequel haters, and the people I mentioned are the example that prove it?

And the first page of this sub-forum shows they are largely present here.

I think if anything, this list http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Okay-who-actually-HATES-the-Prequels/topic/13111/ shows that 2/4 is right and that there are fewer "rabid haters" here than "don't like it, but don't hate it" types.

Or at least in equal number.  True- there aren't a lot of gushers here, yourself excluded... but the site is called "OriginalTrilogy" and seems to not attact people who are PT or "saga" minded.
