Discussion: Another... FAIL Star Wars Toys Review

What exactly can you do with these Galactic Heroes anyway?

Play with them?

They don't look like they can really move.

They have almost as much articulation as the '77 Kenner toys.  :)  Usually their arms and head move but their legs don't.  And to answer your other question again, you can stand them up together in on the coffee table in the living room and have scenes like that.  You can throw them into the squished MilFalcon and have them fly around...

Or you can be like my son when he was 3- throw that Luke and Vader crap to the side, put your favourite droids R2 and 3PO in the X-Wing, and have them fly around saving the galaxy.  That always made me sooooo mad!  I'd have to sit him down and explain that C-3PO was not the hero of the SW movies... Or his imagination.

Real life friends here?
Time

So... I consider ot.com to be the best site for serious Star Wars fans.  Therefore, I have recommended to many of my real life Star Wars fan friends that they come here.  I tell them frequently of the conversations I have here and they mirror some of the ones I have with them.  But so far, no one has bit!  Do you ever recommend ot.com to your real life friends?  Why is it so hard to get anyone to come here?

Okay, bye.

Xbox 360 or PS3 - Which is better? - Advice......
Time

I own a wii, so I'm part of that problem.

Let me break my other statement down for you:

The 360 is turned on and off 4-5 times a day as different people play it for different reasons.

The PS3 is turned on/off 4-5 times a week (max) for watching movies and the occasional game/demo.

The wii is turned on/off 2 or 3 times a month max.  Sometimes whole months pass and it doesn't get turned on at all.

So, the numbers will tell you that I have bought 1 360, 1 PS3, and 1 Wii, but the actual enjoyment derived is not equal like those numbers might sort of indicate.

But yes, a thread with a title like this is a can of worms, indeed!

I love you, man...*hic*...The Silly Thread
Time

I see two options:

1: While Edgar the Ewok is focused on Stan and the pile of almonds, Fran sneaks up on Edgar's flank.  "Clever girl" says Edgar.  Ewok burgers.

2: While Stan tries to make a move on Edgar's almond pile, cut timbre swings down from his left and his right meeting as they smash Stan's little brains all over the sidewalk.  And the almonds.

Or falling out of an airplane in a life raft and landing on the ground safely and go over a giant cliff, or a mine car as a roller coaster that jumps broken sections of track, or a monkey that speaks English, or a boat that doesn't sink while it's being torn to pieces by a giant screw, or a gargantuan bolder that rolls along tree roots, or an airplane that drives through a tunnel after after having it's wings torn off in flight, or riding the outside of a submarine for miles?

 Point!
