Laurelandhardyforum.com (Forum about Laurel and Hardy, I'm a mod there)

Tough gig. I bet the debates get real heated and personal.

Well, it's an online forum, what would you expect?

Actually no, TheBoost, it's a very "clean" place, in all the years that I've been there I've only seen 1 (one) flame war caused by some troublemaker who was promptly banned. We mods just clean up after the spammers, mainly.

You'd better watch it, Leonardo...  Nothing attacts a snake Frink like a little patch of Eden.

Which order to watch the films?? - Dilemma!!!

No I haven't.  Adywan's ESB Reconstruction looks fantastic.  But I haven't found a goto RotJ.  I'm happy enough with SW:R.  I mean, I think the original cut of SW'77 should be available, but I'm not against all changes.  If they're for the better, and they're seen as an "alternative" cut, then that's fine with me and probably what I'd rather watch any given day of the week.

A ... cockroach was trying to crawl on my foot! I jumped about 3 feet in the air,

Well... I do feel a little better now. My feet still hurt, though.

Was this the same jumping event in both stories, was there a cockroach at each jumping event, or were you high?

What websites do you check on a daily basis?  Mine are...

OT.com
Hackaday.com
Avsforum.com
cheapassgamer.com
thedigitalbits.com
darkhorizons.com
comicvine.com
ign.com
teamxbox.com
slickdeals.net
rockband.com/music/songs (then sort by release date)

Okay, so not all of those are daily exactly... but usually a couple times a week.

That's just bunk.  The Force, according to my own understanding, is an energy field created by All living things.

That just goes to show you should never be so superlative.  Everyone who generalizes is an idiot.

"Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter... unless there's this one species of lizard near by. Then, crude matter we all are."

Well... you can still be a luminous being even if you lose your connection to the rest of the luminous beings.  I mean, I don't think Yoda only meant that those who could feel the Force were luminous.  I mean, he and Chewie are bff, amiright?

I know you're a woman, but surely you have more discerning tastes than that, Gaffer?

And no matter what the quality, watching the original is always preferable to anything else.  The GOUT isn't great, but it's certainly watchable.

Definitely.

Oh, look.  The only other woman on OT.com comes to your defense.  What. a surprise.

Eh... I don't mean to brag or anything... but on my home equipment... the GOUT is not watchable.  Seriously, after the whole family watched SW:R last year, the kids and I wanted to watch the rest of the trilogy.  I didn't own the GOUT because I bought the 2004 DVDs when they came out, but I did have the TR47 DVDs.  I netflixed the GOUT and also started looking for a decent enough De-specialized edition online, which I couldn't find in time.  We started to watch GOUT ESB, and it was just unwatchable to us.  We folded and I convinced myself that there were only two or three unacceptable changes in ESB:SE anyways.  We tried GOUT RotJ as well...  We ended up watching 2004 RotJ, except I fastforwarded through the new LaptiNek song, and I put the GOUT in for the last 5 minutes to avoid Hayden and Weesa FreeTM.

I was always a casual TMBGs fan, but never actually listened to a whole album, or anything cliche like that...

Er, what?

Oh, like you don't know... Mr. "I listen to whole (studio) albums because I'm one of the cooooool kids!"  NO!  I just listen to whatever comes on the radio and watch whatever music videos are on Tiny Toons like a true independent thinker.
