And 2/4- I stopped ignoring all of the Inception ignorers for Valentines. You must have missed my announcement and assumed I still had you on ignore?
I take it back. I distinctly remember not having you on ignore during my ingnorathon. It was odd that I had my friends on ignore (mostly as a joke. mostly) but not having you on ignore.
Though I did say I was this close.
I've seen Inception, though :P
Yes, I recall being disappointed that you had. Hence the reason you stayed unignored.
You did think I ignored you then?
I know this won't come as a surprise to anyone... but at first I thought the split vote thing would help... but now I can't decide which PT movie to vote for.
Can I still just take a third off of each one?

I had two Chewbacca figures. So I pretended that they were the Chewie brothers and that they were frontmen in a rock and roll band.
They would sing "Chewies!" in perfect harmony. It was their signature.
It is also my signature.
What? But... Hey! I was going to...
Ah, man...
Can he do that?
Hey... how many times can TV's Frink vote?
Sure thing, necklace.

Musicals can be good if they are cheesy fun and don't take themselves too seriously - like Repo or Across the universe or indeed Dr Horrible.
Wait, are Repo and Across the Universe your examples of good musicals?
There are some much beloved musicals I don't like at all: South Pacific, Carosel, Oklahoma (to some degree), and others. Something being a 'musical' doesn't really increase or decrease my chance of liking something I guess... but I do like a fair number of musicals.

That's all I can think of presently.
hey!!!! what about 1776?
Wow, you're totally right! How did that one skip my mind. I'll put it near the top.
I also forgot Guys'n'Dolls, though it's really only based on a high school performance I saw when I was in Jr High.

I apparently was off the mark last time I tried to help... but here I go again.
2/4 said Quigonn sucks. Alex and Frink said, "that's your opinion". 2/4 said "then you have dumb opinions". Then Alex and Frink said "Don't call our opinions dumb." Then 2/4 said, "Greivious is better than Vader." Then Frink and greenpenguino and everybody either thought or said, "2/4, your opinion of Grevious/Vader is dumb." And then 2/4 of said:
QED.
If not, then I do give up. But I give anyone who says "super-duperlative" some points.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall getting irritated that 2/4 thought my opinion was dumb. That's just his opinion, and I'm not worried about the opinions of insane people, even if I think said opinions are insane.
Dumb/wrong/insane.

The Obi-Wan missed jump looks too off to me. (The first one, not the overshoot, which is still awesome) To me, it doesn't look like he jumps and misses, which I think is your intention, but just that the footage is reversed. I say either play with that one a little more or go right to the overshoot.
I'm in love with the idea of him falling short, which is what it is supposed to be. I agree it doesn't quite look right, I've tried a bunch of different ways and this one was the best I was able to achieve. Maybe one of my "people" can try something, but yes it looks off. It's jerky for some reason that I can't figure out.
I'll probably leave it in if it can't be fixed. It still makes me laugh.
You'll need Bob to help you out again, probably... but he needs to keep moving forward when he starts to fall down. Because he moves backwards when he starts to fall down- it just reads as reversed footage.
A few more thoughts:

And as far as the "simple flip leaves continuity errors"... What errors? Is it anything worth worrying about? This is a ridiculous edit, afterall.
I apparently was off the mark last time I tried to help... but here I go again.

So wait, you're saying you like Grievous better than...Vader?
Did I misunderstand that? Please tell me I misunderstood that.
I think he was saying that Grevious was better than Hayden's portrayal of Anakin or Vader. Hence: Hayder. Or was it Vayden?
^^ No one undestands the words coming out of his mouth.
(DANG IT SLUGGO! YOU MOVED MY CHEESE!)
And how could I forget the following from Star Wars! the Musical. (It's a clinically proven fact that 100% of movie titles that end in an exclamation point are musicals!):

I thought it was clones vs clones.
Obi-Wan's old name sounded so much like (as in Artoo) a phonetic transcription of a registry code, that maybe OB1 was a clone too.
I thought could have resulted in the official outlawing of clone technology to mass produce slaves and armies resulting in droids taking their place (like the Butlerian Jihad in reverse)
This is very similar to what I thought it was (& still prefer to think of it as...). I discovered Star Wars in the early 90's & didn't really give the Clone Wars much thought at first. Eventually, when I did (probably around the time I first heard rumors of the prequels being made), I looked up anything I could find about the Clone Wars.
Things I found were pretty sparse (The Thrawn Trilogy actually provided some background, IIRC). But What I did find allowed me to conclude the following:
The Clone Wars started when a group called the Mandalorians (from whom Boba Fett got & *heavily* modified his armor) decided to take over the Galaxy. Being one race from one planet, they didn't have armies large enough for the conquest so they set about cloning themselves. They eventually layed waste to the republic & in a last ditch effort to stop them, the Jedi agreed to clone themselves. This, of course, created a rift amongst the Jedi. The Jedi & their clones (& the Republic's armies) finally defeated the Mandalorians.
But there was an unforseen problem. The rapid growth, among other things, caused clones to be mentally unstable & go nuts. Not a good thing when you've got force weilding Jedi clones running amok. Thus, the second Clone War was the real Jedi fighting the cloned Jedi. This also resulted in public opinion turning against them leading to the downfall of the Jedi. Around this time would also be the rise of the emperor, Empire, & Darth Vader, all using the Jedi's struggles to their own benefit.
So that's the basic story for the Clone Wars as I imagined it (&, again, still prefer to). I do specifically remember some book or magazine speculating that Obi-wan was really OB1, which refered to "Old Ben 1", the first clone of Jedi Ben Kenobi. Not an idea I particularly love, but an interesting idea. It's been a while, but I do seem to remember clones being an integral part of the Thrawn trilogy with a clone of Luke and that crazy old Jedi, Jorus something-or-other possibly being a clone (hence why he was so nuts). I also remember something like Bingowings mentioned about the resultant outlawing of clones & then rise of droids as servants (this also tied into R2 & 3PO not being welcomed in the cantina - they were a rather recent addition to the culture & were looked down upon as stealing jobs from living beings).
I like this a lot. Good jorb.
^Vocab word of the day.
(isn't your using of the word a falderal all of its own?)
But I just noticed that I am apparently very poor at simple maths.
The scores should be:
The Phantom Menace:99.666 points
Attack of the Clones:95.667 points
Revenge of the Sith:97.667 points

is there someone who can explain the appeal of the musical? I don't really get it. Of course, I have enjoyed a bunch of operas, so maybe I am not really giving musicals a chance.
There are some emotions best expressed through song/music?
