Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

@canofhumdingers: That is a good point. I think that we are most of the way there, because we are disputing the smallest changes in hues and tints! At least the "blue filter" of the official release is gone.

That said, it would be a shame to get almost there and give up because it is too difficult.

Also, to put it out there, my monitor is not calibrated, but is mostly correct (lines up with what others are seeing).

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

OK, finally downloaded the workprint, and here are my rough notes about what I saw. I mainly looked at color consistencies/inconsistencies. I listed the approximate timecodes for the events.

4 min. - Stormtrooper beige color

6:50 min - stars in the escape pod shaft flickering? Is that correct?

"No one to stop us this time" - Vader's friend slightly brownish

12:50 min - bluish Sand Crawler lights

14:45 - too bright, washed out sand color

16:35 - also too bright?

20:03 - color levels/Luke's hair and skin tone

20:45 - squarish hologram "shadow" behind image

23:13 - bluish table - should be white? Luke's clothes are also a bit blue

24:50 - odd color switch between shots - goes from orangey in the Binary Sunset scene to greenish in the next shot

29:30 - Odd color levels - Obi-wan very pale/brown, compared to later in the shot or at his home

35:12 - Color of admiral different from later in the clip

Also, Princess Leia differently colored in detention cell; may be because of the whiter lighting as opposed to the reddish lighting on Tantive IV.

The good things I noticed:
Awesome  clarity of the Star Destroyer in the beginning shot/tractor beam shot. Did you use the BD as a source? Also, no "ghost Luke"!
