oh shit! I forgot about the "saying shit about Frink's mom" list. Someday, I'll make it on that list...someday.

You shot who in the what now?
Great thread. I think this is in order:
Ghostbusters
Aladdin (watched it tons when I was a kid and now my kids love it)
Goonies
Gremlins 2
The Matrix
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Princess Bride
Ghostbusters 2
(I'm sure there's a couple I'm missing but I've been drinking..)
Very interesting. Thank you, CP3S.

Plato, Aristotle, and Hippocrates all mention abortion in their writings. So yeah, it has been around awhile.
So when is the first anti-abortion movement? Anyone know? I don't recall Jesus bringing it up (although I'm not implying that he would be for it).
I wonder if there were ancient forms of abortion. Anyone know?
Great thread idea. I'm too high to type so I'll rant later but just wanted to say great thread.

God has a plan for everyone. Unfortunately it seems God's plan for some includes getting raped and molested.
Karma's a bitch!
Nah, but seriously, he was an old man....and old men tend to die off before the young men.

It's been dead for awhile.
The funny thing is that Chuck Norris refused to do the movie if it were R. So, the guy who became an internet legend with jokes about his toughness is actually a big pussy.
Bruce Lee was always better than Cunt Norris ;)
But yeah I think the action genre has long been killed by Hollywood's need to create action movies with nothing but special affects and no storyline, dialog, acting required. Special Effects and explosions and everything else is low priority. Look at how horrible the Transformer movies are.

I wonder how long it will take for the legitimate users to counter sue for loss of earnings.
Lots of software for example was distributed via that route.
This is a very good point.
I think if these bills (which were probably hand written by the MPAA or RIAA) pass it will just force "pirate sites" to go to foreign countries for hosting. Demonoid has moved several times. Sure the government will censor those sites but there are plenty of ways around that (just ask the folks in China).
Bottom line this bill (if it becomes a law) will fail to make a dent in piracy. And how long before they begin to censor sites which offends some other special interest group or anti-American sites??
It's going to ruin a lot of things like youtube, facebook, deviantart, newsgroups, etc.

And c'mon, Martin Sheen is the Mighty Ducks man! How can nobody know that?
I think you were kidding but just in case. Emilio Estevez (Martin Sheen's son) is the "Mighty Ducks man."

I vote for Captain Hammer. The hammer is his penis.
And twist, I never said you were wrong, I was just disappointed that you only know Martin Sheen from Catch Me if You Can.Martin Charlie Sheen was also on that Two and a Half Men for a few years before he was fired.
fixed.
Actually Martin Sheen was also on Two and a Half Men for a few episodes. He played Rose's Father (Rose is the crazy but hot neighbor) who later falls into with Charlie's mother.
Everyone needs to get their Sheen straight :P

I have only a few hours to make a fifteen minute documentary about Nazi propaganda. I'm not going to make it.
Make it all artsy and shit. That always works.
Make it a pro-Nazi documentary and they will turn it off before the 15 minute mark I assure you. ;)

What about Super16?
That's much more logical. And then the Sequel to that would be Super35

If you are the only black character in the film, you will not survive.
Not only that, you'll probably die first.
Indeed.

However, when I see politicians preaching against gays and lesbians and then sneaking off to get plowed in the ass by a stranger, that's not the same thing. Those guys are assholes and hate mongers. If there is a hell (and there isn't) I hope they burn in it.

Finally saw Super 8 (or Video 8 as the other half keeps calling it) and I loved it but he didn't. Four reels from me.
I was really surprised how much I enjoyed it. I really only saw it in theaters because my teenage cousins wanted to see it (and they are from out of town so I never see them).

I used to take hour long walks in the evenings until winter rolled around. Now I need a new alternative.
That's my problem. Most of my exercise involved either walking, jogging, or landscaping. Winter has halted all of that.
two words: Snow shoes. If you live near woods that you hike through in the summer, get some snow shoes and have at it. Dress light because you will sweat like crazy. The problem is that they are not cheap, so you may want to rent them before you decide whether you like it.
I somehow find myself being more active in the winter. Last week I walked out on the lake to go fishing (ice is not thick enough to drive on) and my legs still hurt. It was literally a 25 min walk because it was warm that day and it was glare ice.
I live by between two college campuses and I see just as many joggers in the winter when the sidewalk is dry, or the snow is crunchy enough to run on without slipping. And shoveling instead of snow blowing is always a work out.
