C3PX, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I have enjoyed the very occasional cup or two using cream and sugar. To me it doesn't mask the flavor - it enhances the flavor. Same reason I use mustard on my burgers, steak sauce on my steak (sometimes), and various toppings on my pizza. Not to say that straight coffee isn't good or great for others, but for me I like what I eat to have lots of different flavors going on.

You want to draft Albert Pujols if you get the chance, as Ken Tremendous (The Office writer/producer Michael Schuur) wrote in the sadly defunct firejoemorgan.com pointed out in 2007:

Albert Pujols is either the best hitter in baseball or he's damn close. He has 266 career HR and he's played in a total of like 65 baseball games. He has a .418 career OBP. He is 12 feet tall, and each of his lats weighs 80 pounds. His bat is 60 inches long and is made of Bigfoot's spine. He is a monstrous monster who eats sliders. Not balls that were used to throw sliders, mind you -- he has figured out a way to eat the concept of sliders. The dude hits with a closed stance only because Marty Barrett bet him he couldn't hit with a closed stance like Barrett did and still win the MVP and Pujols did it just to stave off the boredom that had come from solving baseball. He once hit a home run on a hit-by-pitch. He has more hits left-handed than anyone in baseball history has right-handed -- and he is right handed. He completed an MD-PhD at Hopkins in one hour and gave a graduation address (in Greek), and he had to miss a game against the Pirates in 2003, and he still went 2-4 with a double. The home run he hit off Lidge in the NLCS....just now landed, in Banff. He is awesome.

LOST
Time

After weeks of catching up I finally watched my first episode in its scheduled time tonight - and C3PX was right on when he said this:

I have always found the show far more enjoyable when you are able to consume it in larger chunks.

Me too. Also, when watching on my laptop I pay closer attention than when I'm watching on my TV at home. Too many distractions.

Anyone else see a disappointing finale on the way? It seems like it took far too long for Sawyer to go dark. Kind of similar to the long-delayed conversion of Anakin Skywalker.

OT.com's LOST
Time

Just opened my eyes - where am I? One moment, I'm on a plane from Sydney to Los Angeles - now I'm looking up at a jungle canopy? Aaaah! Damn I'm sore! Good thing I can still move - not bleeding AFAIK.

What? Someone else is posting? It seems to be coming from over that ridge but I'm too far away to read it! The other posters - they can't all be dead, can they?

I'm headed that way - hopefully I can find him or her and figure out what happened...
