Jesus, you're retarded. LOOK at the date of Neil's post... Neil doesn't post here anymore.
Why do you want a corrected 04 DVD of SW Ep IV, when according to you there is nothing wrong it?
hehehehehehehe
GoodMusician,
I'm sure Johnny Ringo didn't mean to come off sounding like you owed him or the rest of us anything...I think he's just really excited....
Your feeling and reasons for being resentful are well taken...its a shame people are ripping aprt your work and it is pathetic that some are selling your work as well...by all means if you ever find out if someone on these boards was selling your work, please do share....we'll put them in their place...
So how shitty were the 04 dvd's? LMAOROTFLMAO
kenkraly2007 said:Stop complaning about the sets people I am tired of it so what it one section of the flim has messed up sound. You can't have it both ways. Shut up allready.
kenkraly2007 said:I am not a idiot. Why does this site on the borads have to talk mean to people. I just don't get it.

I just smell muppet shit....
looks great Adywan
TRIFORCE89 said:I have a Blu-Ray player, but only SL DVDs. As long as there's no problems doing this over the computer (and I don't need to buy DL DVDs) then I'm happy. Can't wait to watch this.
NO NOT SL DVD ...you NEED to burn to a DL DVD
TRIFORCE89 said:Are there any problems if I were to use my TV as a monitor for my computer and watch the movie off of that (instead of a Blu-Ray player)?
As long as you use DVI out.
Janskeet said:Adywan, what version of the Emperor and dialog do you plan on using? Are you going to use the OOT emperor as he appear in the 1980 theatrical release? Or are you going to use the '04 Ian McDiarmid Emperor. Are you going to use Ian McDiarmid's voice if you use the OOT Emperor, or are you going to manipulate the dialog to your own taste?
Janskeet said:Wow, I didn't realize how turguise the scenes with Yoda were, Adywan, are you trying to make it look as close as possible to the theatrical version, or are you doing the coloring to your own taste? By the way, I don't know if they spell color "colour" in the UK, but here in the USA it is spelt "color".
Janskeet said:Adywan, do you really go through these movies frame by frame? Because if you did, even if you spent just 1 hour on every frame it would take you decades just to complete one movie and that's with no sleep! I did the math by dividing the apporoxmate # of frames in a 2 hour movie by 24 to get days and then divided it by 365 to get years.
Can you just edit your first post next time? BTW they do spell the word "color" colour, of course you could of found that out in two seconds using Google in stead of posting here, sounding like an idiot....also I find it funny in the same post you said "spelt"....lol the word is "spelled".
kenkraly2007 said:adywan I am feel your frustration but to call me and other people that are star wars fans idiots that's not right. And by you saying lucasfilm does'nt care about the fans that's wrong if they did'nt care we whould not have the star wars films on dvd to begin with. But you don't care if lucasfilm puts the films on blu-ray becuse people like you like to bash Lucas and pick on the guy. That's class-less in my opinion.
You think LFL released the 04 DVD's becaused they "cared" about anybody? LMAO It wasn't a warm fuzzy feeling for the public that convienced Lucas to put Star Wars on DVD....it was the MONEY.

Ady, surely there's an easier way for you to color correct without having to use tons of masks. I did a quick color correct on the original 2004 lucasfilm frame from the pic you posted. Only took me a couple of mineuts in photoshop to find a pure black and neutral color point to bring back the original color in the frame. I also used another photoshop tool to completely remove the unwanted cyan out of the frame.
I hope you don't mind me showing this example.
Ah I don't get it? Is your example supposed to be the same or close to Adywan"s? It doesn't have the blue tint to it but still looks off and washed out to me..last time I looked Yoda wasn't grey.
Adywan, amazing as usual...of course the HD version will just be a big tease in anticipation of the Adywan ESB:R release.....
This is my choice...

Janskeet said:Has anyone contacted LFL personally or even better yet, George Lucas about the whole coving up the OT and the errors in the '04 DVDs? Its sounds like a few have. Is there an email that gets me to speak directly to LFL and George Lucas?
Ah, do you really think Lucas reads his own email? or cares what you or anyone else thinks? No offense but this is really a big DUH moment......
I just like the way you spell "colour".....Adywan, my proper English speaking Brit from across the pond.....hehehehe
And to think I'm just a damn Yankee
kenkraly2007 said:Just be happy about the dvds sets and look forward to the blu-ray releases when they eventually come out. That's all I'm saying.
When adults spend their hard earned money on something, and it turns out to be something other than what it was advertised as, people usually are going to complain about it....when you start earning your own money and have bills to pay, then you'll understand...

"There is an incredible amount of grain in the transfers, which is not part of the masters they come from (I've seen them). To be honest, it's not so much grain, as it looks like dirt - the film stocks used for those movies are not that grainy. In any case, this, and a ton of other evidence, has led people like me to strongly suspect they've been deliberately grained up, or in other ways made sure to look like an inferior release next to the 2004's."
With the transfers he means the GOUT, just read the post linked above.
Which has nothing to do with the subject of this thread...thanks.
pjvader said:here ya go
its on demonoid do a search for adywan i removed the link due to forum rules etc
i apologise in advance for my crap upload speed :(
pjvader,
Next time, please just upload the release as it was released. You should of uploaded the rar files instead of the one big compiled iso file.
It makes it much easier for people to download and prevents lots of other potential problems
