Certainly...I've just got to share time with other video projects as well as my family. I've been buying a 1Tb drive every month to offload and group various projects from the smattering of 150, 250 and 500Gb drives I've got lying around, and I need to get my X0 files off that measly 250GB drive on to something larger.

That is wonderful news. I think most people would be more than thrilled and thankful for an OUT trilogy like that.

And if you ever hear from Laserman, let him know that we miss his input on this board and has been in our thoughts and prayers....

MeBeJedi,

Do you think its plausable that you could finish the speck and defect removal fromthe OT trilogy, maybe do the color correction that restores the star fields that you showed on the X0 website and then release the release these that way? Even without laserman's black magic process I bet these would be superior to the gout with your work done to them....

What exactly is the point to your continued posting of poorly done scans? Just admit that you are never going to get these done professionaly and that this is just a personal fun thing for you to scan through these prints ....I just don't get it...not only are you potentently fucking up a nice print but didn't you recently delete all your posts and posted pics and stating that you were going to your own private forum? Please explain?

Well I DVR'd it and watched it this weekend, and it is made for kids under 8 years old, and I wonder about any of you guys here who are adults and actually like this thing?  Seriously, do you like Pokeman at your age?   The show is a kids show, and lets let the kids talk about it on the playground at lunch instead of on a message board for adults:)

Fart jokes galore....even my 13 and 8 year old made fun of just how completely lame and poorly done this was written. They do like the animation however...its just the dialog that they dislike...too fucking lame, even for a kids cartoon.

Am I the only one to see the irony in people who normally spit on George Lucas' name for adding all sorts of unnecessary things to the OT are now suggesting adding all sorts of unnecessary things to ESB? :)

Many of you have said that ESB is damn near perfect.  Why not just leave it alone, and let Adywan do what he set out to do (correct the color, fix mistakes, and snip out things he doesn't like)?  All of these suggestions ("Add more Imperials!  Let's see more Rebel deaths!  I want to see Luke Skywalker eating a Twinkie!  Get rid of that snowflake on Chewbacca's foot!") are neat as a concept, but are either unworkable (for one man on his single PC) or just plain unnecessary.

IMHO, of course. :)

You couldn't be more right. But not to worry Adywan has a good eye and extremely good taste...he won't include anything that takes away from the movie...don't worry.

Leia could be Lukes little snow bunny, they could laugh and play on Hoth, have snow fights, maybe build a snow man or roll around in the snow like Padme and Anakin do in the field http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/thumb/1/1c/Leia_luke_kiss.jpg/375px-Leia_luke_kiss.jpg another scene that was cut of Luke and Leia kissing?

I hate the yub yub ending. The SE is way better. The music is great and we see more which is needed.

Let me guess your under 20, right? Most young people love the 04' SE DVDs, most 40+ who remember the OUT as it was when we saw it IN PERSON, AT THE THEATER, prefer the OUT more. Or at least certain parts of it more....like the original ROTJ ending...

The SE music is LAME. It doesn't even keep to the tempo the people and ewoks are dancing to.

But this is all a mute argument. I respect Ady's decisions and choices for HIS edit....this is just one I don't happen to agree with...

However, the improvements to picture quality and getting rid of the 04 SE slave backup singers will more than make up for it....

I agree with you...its just one more GL SE addition that over explains something that didn't need further explanation....it's almost like George thinks the SW fans are fucking stupid and need every little concept spelled out for them, otherwise we might not get that at the same time that the rebels were celebrating on Endor that the rest of the Galaxy was joyous as well.....Fucking George, you the one who's clueless....

i dunno. i guess it's a matter of opinion and to a certain extent how you feel about george's right to mess with the films. i personally am torn between "you souldnt mess with a film once it's finished george!" and "this epic trilogy ends with a teddy bear picknick?...really... i mean yub nub?!"

however, as we're in the Adywan thread, i think we can all assume that "you shouldnt mess with a film once it's finished" has taken a back seat.

the celebrating 'epilogue' as someone rightly described it feels more like a fitting ending. it strikes a more impressive tone to the ending of a galaxy wide dictatorship. we still see the teddy ewoks having their shindig so we still see the personal side of the celebration.

i do however agree with your "SE addition that over explains something" critique in regard to the wampa scene. less was definately more in that part.

Ep VI's ending isn't about a teddy bear picnic. "The ending" is the revelation that even though Anakin Skywalker had turned to the Dark Side, becoming the epitome of evil, he was still able to be redeemed....in the end there was still good left in him...enough to save him.

Also, I don't necessarily buy into the notion that the galaxy was saved and set free at the end of ROTJ. The Empire is more than just the Emperor and his side kick Darth Vader. There would still be the massive Empire fleet to content with, as well the countless commanders and such that would be scrambling to fill the void left by death of both the Emperor and Darth Vader.

The entire Empire government, governing countless worlds through out the galaxy, just lays down and goes away without a fight? Considering they still have the bulk of the fleet left in tact....I don't buy it.

No. To me, the original ending, which was more of an open-ended ending made more sense. Are the rebels happy that the "head" of the empire has been chopped off? You bet. It gives a lot of new reasons to hope for the future. For the first time in a long time there is once a balance to the force. Luke is a Jedi Master. But there is still work to do to free the ENTIRE GALAXY, and defeat the ENTIRE EMPIRE FLEET. The SE ending feels more like the last half of ROTS where GL tries to wrap up every little mystery and question about what and where everybody came from...the SE ending to ROTJ felt forced to me...that's all.

And oh yeah...one more thing. Lucas, as if to add insult to injury, just had to put a Jarjar screaming "wesa free" in there...didn't he...what an asshole.

I hated the galaxy celebrating...news certainly travelled fast! If that's to remain in ROTJ:R then a scene needs to be added which shows the message being relayed...I mean, parties were going on everywhere! These would have taken ages to prepare and organize...I mean come on!

The ewok ending, and the original music, were always much better. Scrap the SE celebrations!

Agreed, as was to be expected.  The only thing I did not like was that he seemed to talk down to him at times. I don't know how that will play, but either way he won hands down.

Right....remember Nixon vs. Kennedy? Nixon = McCain is all I'm going to say.....pale pasty old fart deer in headlights....LMAO

GM i can totally sympathise with you over someone profiting from your hard work. I went to the Midlands EXPO on Saturday and there was a guy there with some Imported DVD's and i spotted 3 copies of my Revisited edit. He even used my cover. At first i thought he might have just used my cover as a substitute and that it might not be Revisited so i asked him about it. He told me it was a pre- release of the new EPIV that would be coming out at X-mas with some major changes done to it. He had a portable DVD player so i asked him if i could see some of it before i purchased it. My jaw dropped when i saw my movie (minus the warning and menus). i told him that i would be back a bit alter to buy one but went to find one of the organisers. They were no help at all at first. they came with me to the stall and he produced some credentials and they said that it was a legit release and that i had no proof that it wasn't . i told them to play the end credits and produced my ID. they had a look at the disc and it was a factory pressed DVD. they still didn't believe me. I felt like punching the guy cuz he just had such a smug look on his face. But i had something that they couldn't dispute that this was indeed my edit. Luckily for me the EXPO was only 15 minutes from where i live so i got the wife to pop back home while i remained at the stall and get the original painting i did for the cover. You should have seen the look on his face when she came back with it. The guy just suddenly legged it with the copies of revisited, closely followed by security, leaving his stall unattended. At least my DVD collection has now grown somewhat. lol. but when i asked them later if he was being prosecuted they wouldn't give me any information at all. that's the last time i ever go there. I'm off to memorabilia in Birmingham in November so it will be interesting to see if he's there too.

3 copies? I guess the guy was small time...I know that's not much comfort...

I'd like to know where he got them....if they were in fact pressed DVD's, what DVD dupe house pressed copies of your edit? They're the ones you need to find out about and sue their asses off.....damn Ady, I wish England wasn't so far away...it would of been a fun bashing that dork.
