It's interesting to read him say that it's a body double, if it is it's a very good match for Mark both facially and in terms of body language (It would also mean I would have to apologise to Vbangle who insists it's not Mark).
The footage in the meditation chamber looked like a composite to me as the helmet looks really glossy (as in the ROTJ style).
Does this mean that originally Vader was to address the Emperor from his booth in ESB (explaining his bow) and the hologram was later moved to outside the booth where he could kneel with more style?
No apology necessary. There is one more thing that strikes me as odd with that scene. And I am certainly no expert but that scene looks different to me that the rest of ROTJ. I mean it looks sharper or something, almost like it was shot digitally and not on film, which would make complete sense if this shot was only finished just recently. The sound track also seems like an add-on to me.
Go back and re-watch that scene and tell me if you think the quality and feel of the cinematics fit with the rest of the Jedi movie....I don't think so.
One more thing. Mark Hamill is lying. He was either lying before or after this scene was released.
I think he is lying after the fact. George needs him to lie, if he doesn't than George is screwed on this scene and would have wasted his money on a bombshell extra scene that would go a long way in selling a crap load of Star Wars Blu-Rays. Its all about the money to George and Mark has decided to support George's "vision".
