I don't see any issue with the dome - it's the angle of the photo. There are subtle differences, but it looks like R2 to me. There may be differences between ESB and ROTJ R2 that have gone unnoticed. I'm a little surprised he wasn't altered in some significant way after 30 years. Let's hope he doesn't fly. ;-)
As much as I like the music in the PT, I don't want any of that music to appear in the ST, such as Duel of the Fates, Across the Stars, etc. I'd prefer the reoccurring music to be themes of characters from the OT, the Force theme, Rebel Fanfare, etc. Since the Empire is around in the ST, I wouldn't be surprised if we heard the Imperial March in some form.
Possible set photos with stormtroopers...?

Has Lucas or Lucasfilm ever made an official statement as to why Anakin's ghost was changed? It really doesn't seem like much thought was put into the change, especially when you consider the footage that was used and how it was executed.
I'm actually more excited about Williams' score more than the movie itself. However, that may change once the teasers and trailers start rolling out.
Natalie Portman has made some comments, too... although, I'm not sure if she's specifically talking about the blue screen aspect...
Do you think it's possible or likely that Disney leaked this concept art? I mention it because the pictures haven't been removed from any of the host sites, including the supposed original site, mf.com. Unless if the pictures spread too fast for Disney to contain it and decided to let it go... In any case, it's good publicity for the film.

There was a rumor a while back about there being an "Empire" type twist in Episode VII. I think Leia turning out to be the villain (a cyborg villain no less) would certainly be an unexpected twist, even more so than Luke.
I'm having a hard time believing Leia will be the evil one in this film... I think we're looking at an entirely new character.

This concept art is excellent and I love that they're using McQuarrie's artwork for inspiration as well, as we have already seen. Interestingly, none of the concept art seems to correspond with the "leaked" footage from a few weeks ago. I love that they're using an AT-AT as a base/hideout of some sort. :-)
No problem! I thought I had missed an announcement somewhere... Prowse has publicly expressed interest in returning as Darth Vader in Episode VII... assuming the character will be in the film. I still think Prowse, Mayhew and Baker should have an unmasked cameo somewhere in the ST.

No, he didn't. If true, I believe this will be the first time a Star Wars teaser will feature original music... I will have to look back to make sure. As far as I know, Williams has only specifically written trailer music for 1941, Hook and the first Harry Potter.
Rumor has it that the reason Williams is going to start writing music in the next couple of weeks is because Disney wants to attach an Episode VII teaser to "Into The Woods" which opens on Christmas Day. The teaser would feature original music written by Williams. Nothing has been confirmed, but, if true, this may explain why Williams is starting early... So this may be another instance like "Hook" or the first "Harry Potter" where Williams wrote music specifically for the teaser and trailers.
I was thinking the same thing, but it seems too early even for a rough cut and Williams, as a rule, doesn't score off of scripts. It's hard to hear Williams in the video, but it does sound like he said "start scoring" implying that he's already written some material or maybe he'll start writing within the coming weeks.
I guess Williams will start scoring Episode VII in a few weeks...
Luke also used a lightsaber on Endor, but the only witness died... or so we know.... there's a lot of hiding places on Endor. ;-) If Boba Fett survived (and according to Lucas, he did), he saw Luke with a lightsaber as well.

I've found there's really no logic behind why some videos are removed and others remain. I've had Disney related videos removed while others exactly like it remain and continue to remain, even Star Wars videos. I've haven't come across anyone who has actually seen the video, just the screenshots. I'm sure security is pretty tight and I can't imagine nobody would notice a person standing in front of a monitor (for at least a few minutes) recording this footage with their phone. It's fun to speculate, nonetheless.
It's hard to tell without seeing the actual video footage, but you have a point. The shots of the ocean could be at any number of locations, though. What also throws me off is the costume, which doesn't look very high quality material. The stills of the footage seem to be too amateur to be real and I'm surprised they would show the ocean so clearly. Then again, if it's test footage, then I guess those issues don't matter. Also, I don't think removal of the video and YouTube account is any indication of the footage being real since Disney/Fox does take down YouTube videos on a daily basis, especially high quality videos.
Are we sure it's even Skellig? It looks like it could be any rocky coast. Also, isn't Hamill's beard mostly gray? Unless if this is test footage of some sort with a stand in. I don't think it's real...
