Just watched the clip. Sounds good, but I think I'll need the entire movie to really form an opinion.

Joking aside, it sounded great!! I can't really think of anything I would change. As some of you may remember Infodroid and I rebuilt the soundtrack for the mace/palp duel in ROTS, which sadly will never see the light of day now

Anyway, I know how hard it is to build the soundtrack from scratch and get all the levels right. Excellent work!!

To comment on other things, I was suprised how clean the video was and the color correction is great. For reference, I watched the clip on my 8ft wide screen with a Panasonic LCD front projector, Denon 5.1 receiver and Boston Acoustic speakers.

To all the people complaining about how loud the music is. Adywan has stated that it is a **temporary** soundtrack!!!! Does it make any sense to complain or even comment about something that was just put there to fill a gap for now?

I have the Japanese laserdisc of tpm, a Pioneer Elite laserdisc player and demodulator sitting in my closet. Maybe one of these days I'll get them out and record the DD track off of
the laserdisc. One of these days.

I'm very insterested in the way you're pairing only one prequel with only one episode from the OT. I see how ROTS and ROTJ go well together, but I'm wondering how ESB and AOTC will blend. And then ANH with TPM is really bending my mind. How do you mix such a great movie with such a piece of crap? Oh, that will be a challenge

Actually we are pairing the second half of ROTS with ROTJ, first half of ROTS with ESB and AOTC with ANH. TPM will be reduced to a 6-8 minute prologue to ANH. Of course this is all subject to change. We may not use alot of AOTC so we will then have to blend part of TPM with ANH, hard to say at this point. We usually rough something out, then cut it in Vegas until we like what we see. The final cut may not even resemble what we started with.

I'm in the middle of a construction project at home which will be completed in about a week. Once that is done expect more timely updates and things to really start rolling.

I may post a small clip of the duel in a week or so once I go back and adjust the audio levels and polish it up a bit. Not to much, just a little bit.

Hey Guys!

Long time no see!

First of all the trailer is uploading now, I'll post a link as soon as it's done.

Someone asked earlier which versions of the dvd are we using? The 2004's for now. I thought about the GOUT, but decided that the obvious picture quality difference between that and the PT would be too much. Although we are going to do some minor color adjustments to the PT. If something else comes along while were working on the project it shouldn't be a huge deal to change it out. Were playing this one by ear.

I'll try to be more active in the thread than I have been in the past. Although ID is the better PR guy.
