Weeelll tablets are pretty hi-res these days. You might actually be looking at 720?
If anyone wants good music for that elevator scene in AOTC...
Oh. Well in that case, it's great.

My friends and I know of Vic Mignogna through his other work as a voice actor. While he's talented, he's known to be a tad bit arrogant. So, with that in mind, we watched it together and critiqued his. EVERY. move. It's pretty clearly a vanity project; look at how Kirk always gets the last word.
Very good point, and sad to hear.
I gotta say, I really enjoyed Star Trek Continues E01. The acting and lighting were decent, unlike New Voyages/Phase Two. The story was actually pretty great and engaging, which surprised me (another common fan production problem). They did some of the same stupid stuff that fan productions always do (using TOS actors, using Uhura's first name), but despite that it turned out okay.
And I rather liked Bones.
What's the source for this recording?
And why does the percussion section throughout make me think of 1960s movies/TV?
EDIT: This might remind me more of the music for games like Wii Sports or its sequel on that island.

Red Letter Media has released their latest Half in the Bag about Into Darkness.
As much as I did enjoy the film, that review sure did make a lot of sense.

With the rumors circulating about Enterprise getting revived ala Arrested Development...
WHOA! Don't scare me like that.
1. Pretty sure this was nothing more than some fan saying "Wouldn't it be great?!" instead of anything actually substantive or realistic.
2. Oh calm down Enterprise was good.
There should be some way for older members of the forum to approve new thread ideas for actual creation of new threads.
The monkey-men are so bad. Otherwise, fine.

She looks like someone famous but I can't quite put my finger on it. Jeff's wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm?
Yeah there's some resemblance there.
And Warbler, what a reply.

If there is interest in something similar for the audio side of things, I'll see what I can come up with.
Seconded.
Your idea relies too much on the audience knowing the original film.
Yeah, I would never take a pronounceable acronym and continue saying each letter individually after it's been incorporated into a word like avisynth.

Over saturated visual eye-sore like films like 'The Kings Speech', 'Skyfall' etc will date very quickly.
I certainly hope "films with more than two colors" isn't a description used in history books to describe how films from the latter twentieth century are visually unique...
Here's something I made,
The top two screenshots are from 2012's cutting edge digitally graded 'Skyfall, the bottom two are from colour-tinted silent films made almost 100 years ago when film was in it's infancy:
...or is that the other way around?
Let's hope films start looking like this again, sooner rather than later:
Also I did this GODFATHER 2013!!:
OH Yes! It's sooo much better!
(Rant over)
Okay.
That was fantastic. So good to see it all put in one feature like that!
In which Orci outs Lindelof as being the pro-Khan push
Let the OT.com-Lindelof-hate-fest continue...

How is Starfleet more militaristic than in any of the older films?
See: Any film where they're in the red uniforms, but especially the central conflict of ST:VI:TUC

Ah, gotcha. Not sure how I misread that.
But seriously, Insurrection and Nemesis are both far better than the J. J. stuff. Insurrection actually has a story, which is something I noticed movies don't necessarily have to have anymore. Nemesis had somethings I liked about it, more I didn't, you're not missing anything.
As a person who watched part of Insurrection, I remain unconvinced.

Oh look at those Obi & Luke post-Tuksen-attack colors.
