By inference they must have told someone or God revealed this to someone else or how else are we to know the tale? But apparently to some without a more direct explanation of how the good news got out the story falls apart, even though you have miracles and the like popping up throughout the text.

 damn.  didn't know that.  Glad I don't live there.

 Their toilets work just fine. The paper in the trashcan doesn't particularly smell for a few days. So just empty that bin regularly. Probably helps that, in typical Russian homes, the toilet is in a separate room from the sink, tub/shower, etc.

I liked 3, and I even liked the reveal (the vaults' location) of 3, but I did not like the ending of 3. Terrible ending.
