Hey, if that kid wants to believe that's canon, who are we to stop him?

Also where's my brightness? This appears to be "300: The Phantom Menace"
I was being sarcastic.

My own explanation for why Lucas changed it is that Shaw as Anakin's ghost was supposed to be representative of "the good man" Luke's father was before becoming Darth Vader.
Probably should have used Jake Lloyd then.
They're not even canon anymore so who cares? Things aren't interesting unless they're canonical. Thanks, Disney.

Clearly the stormtroopers of the OT are not the Aussie clones of the PT.
You mean Kiwi.
Too bad New Zealanders are a bunch of cocky a-holes descended from criminals and retarded monkeys.
New Zealanders- "Throw another shrimp on the barbie and ride around on your kangaroos all day."
No no no, you're thinking of Australians.
I would prefer no ghosts
Oh now there's an idea. Have the graverobber in the film, don't reveal who she is, but also make it seem that Luke has turned. Then, reveal he's still good and the graverobber is Leia!
There are a few problems, even if I think it's a pretty solid theory

I feel like a complete dweeb updating a months-old thread, but ... I'm back!
Well, I'd like to say "I'm back!" and I was going to upload some new, awesome stuff I've been working on in my absence, but it turns out that lighting struck my computer (almost literally), and a great deal of my prequel edit work was lost. HOWEVER, that does not mean that I will stop the edits. It just means that they will take a lot longer than expected. I intended to do a surprise release around the summer, but they'll likely take several months longer than that (and will perhaps be a little less extreme, but we shall see!)
In the meantime, I'd like to officially say that I'm back from my long time away, and in the coming months, you can expect some more cool stuff coming your way!
Oh man. How much was lost?

I just noticed, with timdiggerm's reposting, that the second picture (in his order) has what looks like a crashed Star Destroyer in the background. That should be interesting. And we now know what the pig things are going to be used for.
Interestingly, it's very clearly an EU Interdictor

Here's an imgur mirror of the latest art leaks, ordered as I saw fit: http://imgur.com/a/joWWK
Oh, but ANH Revisited doesn't have Jabba

There are plenty of ANH edits using ANH:R as a source.
Any theatrical ones?
I'd pretty much like to watch pre-SE ANH adywanized.
But if there are going to be changes like upgraded effects, why not use the SE?

It's actually set 5 years before ANH, not 10.
If that's the case, why does Obi-wan look so young?
Okay, I haven't actually seen the show, but after doing some quick reading, isn't his only appearance as a hologram recorded around or just after ROTS? So the message is something like 13 years old by the time it shows up on Rebels.
Then you should cite your sources, plagiarist.
You mean it's hard to take the EU seriously?
No, Frink's absolutely right. All you have to do is visit http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Jays-forum-narration-service/topic/17113/ and click "Subscribe"

Yeah, that's how arcade games generally work.
That's particularly strange, given that white on black is often used to make things more legible for the legally (but not literally) blind
Although Jackson was certainly famous in the late 90s, I think he's a lot more famous today.
On the other hand, when there are always several announcements just sitting there, one more really doesn't get noticed.
Oh.
Man.
I guess I should look at those Announcements occasionally.
So, what was that all about?
