Did anyone think there wouldn't be lense flare?
What about angel hair pasta?

The complete lack of any real promotion for Strange Magic thus far really makes it look like something Disney isn't too keen on. There's not even a trailer online anywhere that I can find. I don't doubt the teaser could play with it, but it's likely not going to be the first place we see it.
Given that it's coming out in January... it's probably awful.
Guys, what if the teaser is attached to Hobbit and Into the Woods?
DuracellEnergizer asked:
Is thejediknighthusezni's internalized homophobia caused by his batshit craziness, or is his batshit craziness caused by his internalized homophobia?
Perhaps they stem from a common source.
DominicCobb asked:
There all is aching?
Yes.

Je said qui moi francais est terrible, parce que Je étudié l'espagnol et russe, maintenant Je utilize GoogleTranslate por moi francais.
As for ciphers, I'd say that 27 is Y would make sense in a substitution cipher, but only for an alphabet with 27 or more characters.
JEDIT: Probably worth saying that only parts of the "French" above were written with Google. Other parts were just..attempted.

Which cipher?
In French, please.
Qui chiffre?
Hal 9000 asked:
What questions were you secretly hoping to be asked?
That's a great question.

Nanner Split asked:
who was the best james bond and why was it david niven
That's above my pay grade.
Seriously, I've only seen Connery, Moore, Brosnan and Craig - and not all of the films of all those either.
AnctuFaalb asked:
What can we do to make /r/OriginalTrilogy interesting to other redditors?
Is there any purpose that a subreddit can serve that this board is not already serving? That question aside, probably news update posts about the most popular OT-related projects.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why are you Christian?
I think Jesus rose from the dead and was God, and the teachings outlined in in the Bible (later, in some cases, clarified by later creed & councils) are true.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why Protestant Christian?
This gets a little presuppositionally/circular, but I don't see anything in the Scriptures (aka the Bible) supporting the notion of Apostolic Succession.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why specifically Presbyterian?
I think the Presbyterian system of church government matches well-enough what's described in the New Testament epistles (that is, having multiple elders per congregation) and works well.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why?
I, after a series of experiences working with kids, with teachers, and/or in a teaching capacity, thought I would enjoy teaching more than I did programming. So far, in my second year, I think I was right.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why are you unmarried?
I have yet to marry anyone.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why are you American?
I was born to American parents in America and continue to reside here.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why are 27?
Why not? I think, though, the real answer is that I was born 27 years ago.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why are you a man?
The sperm from my father which inseminated an egg in my mother which then developed into me received a Y-chromosome instead of X during Meiosis.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why?
Because Honda Civics are known to last a long time compared to similar cars, and a 99 Civic was affordable with no loan when I needed a car.
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why?
The more power is concentrated in a higher-level body, the less individual constituents have the power and perceive they have the power to effect the outcome of the political process. This leads to less involvement and thus less actual representation.
TV's Frink asked:
Why did you make this thread without consulting The New Thread Thread first?
So that I could guarantee at least one question
RicOlie_2 asked:
Why haven't there been any original threads lately?
I think this is such a good question that you should consult The New Thread Thread about making a thread to discuss this issue.
Leonardo asked:
What are the chances I could get it to work?
I'll never tell you the odds.
Seriously, I have no idea.
Leonardo also asked:
why do you consider yourself awful?
When you play guitar as infrequently as I do, there's little way to go but down.

This totally needs to be recited by a beatnik to a nice, slow jazz beat.
Not a question, but I totally agree.
Johnny Ringo asked:
Why hasn't Leonardo Dicaprio won an Academy Award?
My guess is that he hasn't put in a performance of better quality in the eyes of the majority of Academy voters when compared to the other nominees for his nominated category in any year in which he was nominated.
Things which this forum member is which may be relevant to questions:
- a Protestant, Presbyterian Christian
- a high school computer science teacher who used to be a professional software engineer
- an umarried, American 27 year old man
- an owner of a 99 Honda Civic
- a pretty awful guitar player
- Some kind of political conservative, probably. I'm more just interested in local control of power

I hope you will fix this one up on the Christmas clip which I am really looking forward to but I also understand the audio could perhaps be temp or it's something you would not want to do even.
As far as I've ever heard, all audio on these clips is temp. Ady doesn't do the audio until the visuals are finished.

While the ones that look like they would be an easy fix, end up being a nightmare. You can just never tell until you start them.
Oh I have to ask...which?

Lucasfilm just posted an excerpt from a Q&A about the Clone Wars Lost Episodes, more specifically about Darth Bane.
I'm happy that he doesn't wear a cloak or robe and doesn't wear black.
Um...he's wearing black.

Plus in genesis it mentions light and dark on the earth being separate, which also implies a sphere. And that's how it looks when earth is viewed from outer space.
Given that the light is called Day and the darkness Night, I don't think that's a great interpretation.
Genesis 1, incidentally, does a great job of describing the Earth as a piece of land surrounded by an ocean, with a big dome called Sky covering it above from the waters all around.

I should be better at reading this thread. Sorry guys.

From a saga perspective, this may help explain Yoda & Mace's concern over their ability to use the force having diminished - The Force had been falling asleep for some time. Who knows why, though. I'd say it had to do with the rising Sith power, but eh, not sure.
OT.comers should love this - A Star Wars film being referred to by its title, not its episode number. I've little doubt that the crawl will say "EPISODE VII", though, as it should.

The SE ending of ROTJ provides a massive change. We see celebrations on various planets; including Coruscant, during which we are led to believe that the Empire has fallen.
It implies it, but it's not for sure. Riots can last for a night, but that doesn't mean the government's done.
In the GOUT, we merely see a small celebration on the moon of Endor. There is no reason to believe the Empire has been completely overthrown. For all we know, someone could have simply stepped into Palpatine's shoes and taken control of the remaining fleet.
The tone of the end of ROTJGOUT makes the same implication as the ROTJSE, even without the riotous imagery.
Maybe it's directed by one Mr. Jeffrey J. Abrams?
What? Those are miniatures you can buy in a store for a tabletop game.
Despite being a fairly theologically-conservative Presbyterian, I need no convincing.
Apostolic succession & Petrine primacy on the other hand...
