Not counting the credits, of course

He’s planning secrets? I can’t wait to not find out!!
I’ve already not found out!
Pfft. If you’re gonna try to sell her attractiveness on me, use the image of her in the leather BDSM garb.
And once again I’m reminded why there are no women on the internet.
If more women objectified men, we wouldn’t be having this problem.
Then we’d have two problems
she is not rey’s mom
Oh I don’t really think so either, but thanks for the explanation
Exactly
and thus Rey’s mom??? Who knows.
It would be pretty cool if she turned out to actually be a secret double agent for Palpy, his personal Hand in covert affairs
An exciting conclusion?
Excitement?
In a prequel??
I was about to make a thread almost exactly like this
Maybe a rescore of the end of AOTC, to make the Republic Army less ominous could use that?
The director of Episode IX wants to shoot it using film and using real space footage:

I guess I could see this working for re-entry atmospheric shots. But otherwise… not really practical.
There’s a spoiler in this thread title.
If you really don’t want to be spoiled, you shouldn’t find out about the delay until you show up to the theater in May.
I believe this is an appropriate time to say
ALLOL?
Also, I noticed that the opening crawl seemed to jitter independently of the star field. Does anyone know if they did this on purpose? There’s no reason for that to happen if it was done digitally which I assume that it was. Right?
Yeah, I thought I saw that too. We’ll have to check the home release.
That is lame on a number of levels.
Could you explain those levels?
Can we add an option to hide all signature blocks?
(sorry that this is in the fan edit section. I didn’t know where else to put it)
The Off-Topic Section?
^Yeah, I’ve thought the same thing. None of the plans he’s announced contradict anything from TFA, but, we don’t know everything he has planned.
Actually, a BIG change he was planning on making was having Lando and the Falcon not making it out of the Death Star before it explodes. I believe Adywan said he wanted to give more weight to the scene in the Rebel hanger on Home One where Han believes he’ll never see the Falcon again after he loans it to Lando for the battle.
I’ve never had a problem with any of Adywan’s decisions he’s made in his revisions to this point, except this one. I don’t like it at all. I hope very much he has reconsidered.
Pretty sure that was revealed to just be a joke, and everyone just took it as gospel.
At this point I don’t see how he could clearly do this because the falcon lives in the new movies
because the Revisited series is only six episodes and doesn’t care about anything else
Add staccato movements to the Rathars so they look more like stop motion creatures than CGI.
Did anyone ever try that with PT bits?
There was a guy with a thread…but it never really got finished?
So who is this Smoke then? Someone new or a mask concealing someone very old?
Not sure if anyone has said this, but:
If you play the Darth Plagues (spelling?) opera song (I cannot remember what is called) and Snoke’s music from TFA, it’s almost the same. Not sure if this is coincidence, but it’s interesting, to state the least.
If this is much more meaningful than “John Williams reused ominous music”…ugh
Also, her absence would have been conspicuous. Less so, now that we know what she does in the Galaxy and we may not need to see her again.
Also he’s got a distinctive face. It does help.
Don’t forget the cocky, suave dragon he played that one time!
Is The Onion’s TFA review using clips from Despecialized or GOUT? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVVUfqy9yRs
There is nothing like that in TFA. Rey’s force powers were all backloaded toward the end of the film. She doesn’t really struggle much or earn her successes. She fails at the Jedi mind trick once, but it’s more of a gag for the audience, because she immediately succeeds on her next try two seconds later. She summons the lightsaber past Kylo without any effort in the final duel, which is fine because I think it worked best cinematically that way, but there should have been earlier scene(s) to establish it.
I think this is indicative that her past includes Jedi training. She may have been at Luke’s academy, and was hidden on Jakku so Kylo couldn’t get her.

I can’t remember hearing Snoke’s “there’s been an awakening” line in the film.In the film, Kylo says to Snoke ‘There has been an awakening, have you felt it?’ and Snoke responds in the affirmative.
Wasn’t it Snoke who said it in the first teaser though?
Apparently so
A leak from the upcoming Visual Dictionary: http://imgur.com/a/8oBYM
As much as seeing Maz is nice, the “OLD HABITS” section on Han is very interesting
