I can’t watch it, it says it can’t be supported when I try to open the video file with Movies & TV.
Yeah, It’s because Movies & TV can’t play ProRes-encoded files (like this one)
You’ll have to download VLC media player. It’s free.

I’m re-uploading the version with Hal’s ideas.
in the meantime here are some comparison photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5MBsMmGN9qXENouDA.
Great to see R2’s light like that. I notice the Falcon traveling much closer to the Death Star in that one shot, which is cool.
The blasters. I tend not to like efforts to make the blasters in ANH or the OT look similar to subsequent depictions by adding a core, because it never seemed to blend in right and would often be too thick. This, however, is totally perfect. Looks pitch-perfect in its goal and does not at all feel out of place. Color me impressed.
R2’s light looks good, but I wonder if mimicking Adywan’s effort for Revisited back in 2007 a bit closer might help further. When R2’s light changes in Revisited, it seems to get darker during the transition, and I wonder if that helps sell that some mechanism is pulling a tab. Here, the color just changes left to right and can feel like a digital alteration. I’m not sure how else to get at what I mean.
Stellar, man!
No worries, I’ll alter the r2 light soon enough. also, the reason the lasers look good is that I didn’t re-create them, I Just brightened the core that was already there, but was terribly faded due to improper restoration.
there are also some mistakes that I just now noticed, and I’ll have to iron them out.
Hey man, do you have any news about the preview? 😉
Yes, It’s done:

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one
😂😂
A 26-minute preview coming soon!!!
This cinema actually does 35mm screenings, hopefully, this will be the case for ESB.
I’ll update you when I watch it.So, how was it?
It was just the 4k blu-ray, but damn did those colors pop! they looked amazing.
something amazing is coming soon…
Thanks.
You’re welcome, Drago97.
Got it.
Here is the tutorial: Retracted for privacy reasons.
Got it.
😀
I haven’t been ignoring you. It’s just that every time that I try to install it, I always have problems with it.
don’t worry, I’ll tape a video of me opening it, and will send it to you.
okay?
will this ever be available for mac
I’ve been wondering this too.
I’ve given you the link to the mac version many times.
You choose to ignore me for some odd reason.
here’s the link btw: https://mega.nz/file/D1YUnATI#g21ed17ldNaXQ0ZZN43_j3dEFBxsNeO8foslxuDD98A
THE TRACK HAS BEEN PURCHASED!!! get ready for a release date soon!
Clicked on the link and they did clarify “1997 Special Edition version”. Interesting they specifically say 1997. Wonder if this means they’re showing a 97 print? Most likely not. They’ll probably just pop the 4k blu-ray in a dvd player, but it would be cool if they showed 97. I still prefer the original version of the movie, but the 97SE at least still has Jason Wingreen’s voice and the original Emperor.

here is a CC comparison, remember the upscaled version is still rendering.

Yeah, I know that. but what’s the reason for you to address that?
I just wanted to see if you knew, which you do, so just forget I said anything.
😂 😂 😂 😂
Harmy’s ‘Despecialized Edition’ of ANH has an 'isolated score’audio track (track 20).
The problem is that that’s the theatrical version, I need the 2011 blu-ray.
the 2011,2013,2015,2019 blu-ray releases have the 2011 isolated score
also doesn’t the 2020 blu-ray releases have the same audio just upmixed
THANKS!!!
Just to let you know, the Blu-ray has a slightly extended cut of the movie (which is 30 seconds longer than the theatrical cut) that is occasionally shown on TV in the UK (and sometimes in the US), whereas the DVD versions have the theatrical cut. There are additional lines in the TV cut that was in the trailer, such as Mike Teavee’s line “Back off, you little freaks!”.
Yeah, I know that. but what’s the reason for you to address that?
Are you doing any kind of HDR grade as well?
not quite.
I’ll be honest, I don’t really understand the concept very well. It’s possible though, but I don’t have a HDR monitor.
COME ON!!!

Almost done… Rendering now.
Honestly give it a year or 2 I bet WB will release it on 4K.
Hopefully, but for now this will suffice.
Looking forward to it already.
Thanks as always.
