Thanks.

Here are some samples:

Next up:

How about the emperor's close up while taunting Luke? I'd like to see how visible (or not) those optical black slugs are, and how much of a difference color correction makes when it comes to seeing them. Thanks

for:

Something which would interest me is the original Sy Snoodles puppet from the original Lapti Nek scene. I'm especially interested in seeing how the puppet holds up compared to its CGI-counterpart in HD.

Would it be possible to see Vader's shuttle flying towards the Death Star? Specifically shots which have the animated workers on the Death Star who are outside watching the shuttle fly past.

For these, and other posts, could you post a reference picture or time. It's not clear at times when you mean.

If you do that, we can post shots.

Thanks

Here's a continuation of the clip with R2D2 and C3PO in hiding.

The clips are compressed twice or maybe more, by us and the site.

Also, they will be 1080p, and clear, but don't expect them to be as clear as the bluray sources.

Thanks for replying. I was trying to make a little joke referring to the 10 pages of angst over the rounded corners in Harmy's TESB.  A *very* little joke, apparently.

We know. But people have to realize there will always be some picture loss regardless. The cropping is there for a reason.

Here is a clip of Luke in Cloud City, and Boba Fett.

Thanks again for the interest in this. Although it's a long way off (possibly), we are still figuring out ways to speed things up.

Parts of it are in really good condition, and if we find replacements that are better, that will go a long way in completing it without doing a lot of repair work.

We will try to address some of the scenes, and maybe post some clips at some point of the most important ones.

Thanks for checking back.

Need to get yourself some dark walls :)

Would be nice but I don't plan on living in this house but so long. Would be a paint over again when trying to sell it. Besides they are actually more grayish than they appear. :)

anyway, sorry -1, was just going with the flow. I'm looking forward to more video clips. Especially anything you might have at 1280p.

No problem. I'm not "-1". This is the team replying.

Don't you mean 1080p.

More comments about the clips are welcome, before we post more.

Thanks.

It's excessive cropping of the image and a loss of image information.

It's the opposite. If the rounded corners of the 35mm frames are visible, the frames aren't cropped enough if original theatrical aspect ratio and presentation is the goal.

That's right. You will definitely get cropping in our version too. So you won't know what your missing out on, and shouldn't be seeing it anyways.
