No, we were going to get it from you, Catbus.
Also, we need to find the Spanish Crawl, and figure out a way to integrate that also, in a dedicated Spanish Version possibly. Most likely, the crawl would be an extra, just like the 81 crawl also.

For those that have recently joined, or have not followed our advances.
We mentioned this in some other previous replies. Since the project has started, we have gone through several hardware improvements, and also acquired more prints.
Currently, we have a 35mm Projector, and a Digital video camera, capable of capturing at 4k, in 24fps realtime.
All of our recents scans use this setup, and we have rescanned portions of earlier prints with it also, when needed.
We have a Dolby digital decoder for the sound, and are also looking into expanding to 70mm capture, and other future improvements.
We are mostly self-funded, but have had some donations for a brief period of time.
We have a lot of custom adjustments with the hardware, and have converted to mostly professional equipment since the time we first started.

Here is a rough sync of our favorite Leia and Darth Vader scene:

Yes, we will be consulting with Catbus, or anyone else, that knows Spanish, to check our previews for the movie.
Team Negative1
Along with our English language preview of Reel 1, we are hoping to include the Spanish Stereo track with it also.
Team Negative1
Pan and Scan may have died out for some. We are currently testing some trailers with it.
If we get some good results, we will post them.
Team Negative1
In case you missed these. They have been reposted on the Spleen by another member.
Team Negative1
70mm films are usually cropped more than the 35mm versions.

Ignore the jitter on the top video. The cleaned video is on the bottom:
It's done to remove the color artifacts in the original.

We have only currently had access to the sources, and the scans.
Which is why we didn't mention it previously.
Most likely we will include one with each movie released.
However, there will be a disc with all of them on there so you won't have to wait for all of them to be released separately.
Team Negative1
Thanks Murch, got to download and watch it. Nice to have all the little added clips in there.
Definitely one for fans of the film.

Here are the rest of the CED images for the titles:

We have done a conversion and fixed the EIAJ version to be more watchable.
Team Negative1 presents : Poitas EIAJ Star Wars Grindhouse Hybrid v1
===============================================
Continuing the lo-fi tradition of Star Wars releases.
We have taken the raw files, and converted them to a more watchable version:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Converted to greyscale
2 Deinterlaced
3 Noise reduced artifacts
In addition other changes have been made:
------------------------------------------
1 Cropping on sides
2 Resizing back to 720x480
3 Fixed audio issues to normalize sound
Details of improved version:
------------------------------------------------------------
Type : Full frame pan and scan - Grayscale
File format : MP4 (AVC)
FIle size : 3.7 G
Video : 720x480
Framerate : 29.97 fps
Audio : mp3 192k 48k stereo english
Time : 1hr59min:26sec
Overall, this version is softer, but the changes make it
a lot easier to watch, and the file size is also much smaller.

*UPDATE : In addition, several jumps, skips, and cut off clips have been replaced with CED equivalents.
Team Negative1
We've posted numerous samples to give an idea of the quality to expect, so please look at those.
We can't compete with the IB Tech scans, because they will always have more detail.
Some parts of our print are very sharp and match up well. Other segments are being replaced with an Eastman print that is as sharp as the Tech but lacks color.
Overall, they are two very different versions, so we don't compare them.
Team Negative1
We are actually looking into 70mm transfers currently. Running some test clips of Empire to see what happens. Nothing about full prints though.
We would want those primarily for their soundtrack.
Team Negative1
Actually, you can have too much material. It takes up valuable space, and it is hard to organize several Terabytes of data, and distribute them.
Even with highspeed access, it still takes a long time.
We have a lot of unused prints, reels, etc, that won't be used, because they have been superseded. We try to preserve what we can.
But at some point, you have to cut the older stuff, and the things you won't use for practical reasons. We've seen prints of all 3 of the original trilogy and passed on them, because they were faded, missing reels, and other issues, where in the past we would have acquired them.
So, yes, you can have too much material.
Team Negative1
Between the 2 prints we have scanned, and forthcoming ones. We're not too concerned about the results of certain scenes. We'll have plenty of material to combine for the best results.
In fact we have too much material, which is a good thing.
Team Negative1
The Blogs have been around for longer than these posts were, which started in 2012.
Our members have always known they will get early access. We welcome all fans, but we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for their support.
They've waited 4 years or longer, while some of you have just joined.
Everyone will see the work eventually.
Team Negative1
Update: Reel 6 has been completed with it's first pass. This means around 95% of the movie has been cleaned.
We expect to be done with the rest by next month.
We have started looking into the integration of replacement scenes from an Eastman print. We are also checking on some improved scans of the LPP we have done.
Team Negative1
We have access and scans of all the Star Wars and Raiders documentaries. In good condition. They've been taken care of, and will be released. More details will be revealed later on.
Team Negative1
For the audio mixes, we will have:
1. 35mm Stereo English
2. 35mm Stereo Spanish
3. 35mm Mono English
Team Negative1
1. The preview will be for everyone eventually. We are rewarding supporters first.
2. There have always been exclusive previews. Join up at AMPS at fanres.com for more information.
3. This preview is only for Reel 1. We are still assembling the workprint. Consideration for that will come later.

Just to recap, here are some comparisons of the Intro and cleanup done, also the credits:
