I don't mind posting this twice.

I was looking for torrents of the SW: Clone Wars series, and found them at Myspleen. Also on that site, I saw the TR47 discs, and in the comments, someone brought up this site. I came over here, read a few threads, signed the petition, joined the site, and proceeded to not post for the first few months.

Zebonka has a point. Until we, the people who want the originals, are in the majority, he really doesn't have to listen. The 70,000 or some that have signed the petition here, even if that's a small portion of the "old fans," as I'll call them, are but a small portion of all the Star Wars fans. The ones that buy are the ones in power. We don't have it.

Moth3r doesn't visit the Off Topic board much. He's a mod on the Preservation board, though.

I tried to balance things. Gaff may not post much, but the spirit is there. Moth3r is more on the preservation side of things. They're the new guard. Expect greatness!

I won my bet today. Granted, my methodology was a little off-kilter. I bet for the Steelers for one reason. The Montreal Canadians. The Habs have played on Super Bowl Sunday every year for the last 14 years (excepting last year, of course). They have won 9 of 14. In the 9 years they won, the AFC champ had a 6-3 record. So that's why I bet on the Steelers. That, and the Habs spanked the Flyers 5-0, so Philly fans had to temper that loss with a Superbowl win.

Now, I don't do the Presidential Fitness test, but that's because I'm Canadian, though we do have an equivalent, frakked if I remember what it's called. I always hated the standing long jump. The other events I could hold my own at, but that one threw me off. I don't know why.

So here's a question for anyone who knows the answer, because I don't feel like looking it up. Now, if the game goes to a shootout, any goals don't count towards a player's goal totals, nor do they count as goals against for the goalie. But, if the score is 0-0 going into a shoot-out, then the records show that no goals were scored against either goalie. So the losing goalie allows no goals, but doesn't get a shut out. WTF?

Stupid shootout. Stupid extra point.

I don't think it's been destroyed, but it's definitely beyond repair. Star Wars will never die as long as there are fans like us, but I think it's time to stop the SW machine.
