Wandering around the iTunes store earlier and found the “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” of the soundtracks of the Star Wars films. I noticed that Lapti Nek and Ewok Celebration were listed rater than their SE counterparts. I listened to the sample or whatever just to be sure and it was true. Just thought I’d share.
Will these anthology films have a crawl? Like one without an episode number but still having the title?
It happened again today.
Just finished the download of the NTSC DVD5 version but I don’t know how to burn the movie to the disc. Jdownloader says the download is finished so I assume it is.
I’ve always loved the name “STAR WARS: From The Adventures Of Luke Skywalker” but I don’t know how that would fit in your renaming.
I notice some odd tonal shifts in ROTJ as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love ROTJ, but it feels weird when the film quickly jumps between cute and cuddly Ewoks to Luke and Vader’s dark final confrontation.

And you think the colors in this screenshot look good? I personally think they are super ugly. And it looks very much like the 2004 master, only with even more screwed up color and without the clouds over the lower sun - maybe it comes from the scan before they added the clouds?
Yeah, the sand is so orange it looks like more like Mars than Tatooine.
I thought it was pretty good too, but I still prefer the original TRON (though I haven’t seen it in ages…).
I prefer the original too. It holds a special place in my heart, really. As a little kid my brother and I rented it from Movie Gallery all the time (back when Movie Gallery was a thing). When a sequel was announced I was almost as excited as I was for TFA more recently. Both of which I think are worthy successors to their respective originals.
My only major problems with the filn were Death Star 3 and the CG in some parts (such as Snoke) seemed out of place.
By the way, did anyone else think Snoke looked like the Silence from Doctor Who?
There is some deleted scenes on the new Blu-Ray but I think the Kurgen killing Yung Dol Kim is lost…

Raiders of the Lost Ark (Steven Spielberg) - The theatrical cut has some bad language that was removed and also a scene in the bar fight …
In the original 1981 theatrical version of Raiders, there are a few additional seconds during the Raven Bar fight where the Giant Sherpa (played by Pat Roach) shoves Indy against several walls while one of the Nazi henchman laughs. This footage was deleted in all re-release prints and video releases.
It’s never been released in it’s theatrical form but again was on TV I think in P&S

A guy told me recently that when he saw the film in theaters in 81 he saw a Nazi soldier hit in the head by the brick Indy pushed out to escape the Well of Souls. On the version I own I only see the soldier on the ground as they leave, but not him actually being hit in the head and dying. I’ve not been able to find this cut mentioned anywhere else so perhaps his memory is incorrect.

Yeah it’s a real shame. I was really excited for this. Have been for months. It was shaping up to possibly be the first decent Trek film since First Contact IMO (or maybe Trek '09 if I’m feeling generous).
Goldfinger. Working my way through all the 007 films since I got them on blu ray as a birthday gift. Of the ones before it and the two or three I’ve caught on TV before, I’d say it’s the best. About to start Thunderball.

Replace General Hux’s Nazi-speech with whatever it was Samuel L. Jackson was saying in that one movie where he was eaten by the bad CGI shark. If possible, make a shark eat hux.
No Jedi had figured out how to do the ghost thing yet. (Funeral pyres are apparently a Naboo custom.) Qui Gon was the first to come back, although that point was slightly lost by the scene where he communicates with Yoda being cut in ROTS.
Lucas has said Anakin’s body does vanish, and Luke burned the empty Vader suit. Take that with a pinch of salt though.
Speaking of Qui Gon’s funeral, why was it on Naboo? Was he from Naboo originally or did nobody love him on his homeworld so they just got rid of the body on Naboo?
