TFA Blu Ray Releases

The poster is for marketing purposes. It doesn’t display the actual title. What’s in the movie is the title, which is: Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. It goes the same for every other episode since 1980 (TESB has no number on posters but its title is Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back).

I still don’t get why people don’t want it to be part VII (well, I don’t want either it to be part VII but it is…).

Even in 1980, Episode V was in the title? I’m aware that it’s in the crawl, of course, but I didn’t think that was “officially” part of the title until around 2004 when numbers were slapped on everything.

I’ve so far only watched the Theatrical Cut. It’s good, but I feel like the other cuts are probably much better. I didn’t mind the narration. It wasn’t good but I didn’t cringe or anything. The “happy ending” of the TC, however, is garbage.

I’ve got some money stored up on old gift cards and I might use it on the 3 disc set of all the versions. Still debating this.

Now, I may be but a simple noob (joined Dec. 2015, lurking since a few months before that), but I don’t think Frink has done anything wrong. Even when I’m the one recieving his sarcastic comments, I usually laugh and don’t think much of it. I really don’t get the recent vendetta against him that so many seem to suddenly have.

Goosebumps
Enjoyement: 7/10
As a film: 5/10

The ending was stupid (caused confusion, pretty much created a plot hole), some of the humour was pretty bad and the CGI was straight out of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. I still recommend checking it out, especially those who liked the books as kids.

I remember how much everyone adored those books in elementary school. Then I finally picked one up and just couldn’t stand it. It was awful. So when I saw the trailer for this, my eyes rolled out of my head.

The TV show was so cheesy and awful that I kinda enjoyed it, but I avoided the books at all costs.

But what if vaccines are population control? Not in that they kill people, but vaccines do work. Then, “they” plant lies on the internet saying that vaccines don’t work so that the gullible won’t get vaccinated and die out.

One show is announced that might not be good and they’ve “let themselves go”? C’mon, Civil War and Doctor Strange are shaping up to be great.

No, no, they just haven’t had many good films. That show was the last straw.

Their films are meh at worst. I can forgive the boring Thor movies and dumb Iron Man sequels because of the Captain America movies alone, which are fantastic. Plus: the Netflix corner of the MCU exists! Which has produced nothing but incredible content so far.

Surely there is some level where they objectively succeeded, or else it wouldn’t have as many fans as it does. I, however, do not have the patience to rewatch any of them to find that level.

I mean, I tried watching AOTC a while back because I thought it would bore me to sleep and I was having trouble sleeping. Instead, it kept me awake as I kept yelling at the TV because of how horrid everything was.
