As you’re 100% convinced of his guilt, the best thing you can do as an individual is simply choose not to buy his movies or watch them. That’s a bit more productive than making ranting threats on the internet which could come back to bite you in the ass someday.

I have no reason to see any of his newer movies, but I might (barely) want to see some of his older movies, without being seen as endorsing child abuse or sexual predation. I never want to discredit or defer blame to any victim of molestation.

I’m recanting this statement.

Nothing this monster psychopath rapist who should have been fucking aborted 80 years ago deserves to be seen or remembered. This man is pure evil plain and simple; if you laugh at his jokes you are laughing at every single child molestation victim ever. We need to purge all society of art made by child molesters. We need to burn paintings, books, albums, and movies to rectify our past endorsement of the sexual assault of women and children. Destroying art is a sacrilege to some, but women are getting raped, and children are being molested in greater numbers than ever before in history, thanks to Woody Allen and men like him.

lol

Under no circumstances should we support anything connected to child molesters. We cannot be clean until every single print of Allen’s films is destroyed. We need to blacklist every single actor who has ever worked with that fucking monster for life. We need to collect copies of his movies from people’s homes, we must boycott all theaters that continue to screen his films, we must censure every single person who has ever supported him.

Now you might say all the accusations are groundless. WOODY ALLEN DID THIS ON PURPOSE. He has no soul; He has no feelings, boundaries, or regrets. He has damaged not just Dylan but countless women over seven decades ever since the beginning of his career. His is far from innocent, and if you think he is, I’m sorry, you have been fooled.

It is highly unlikely that those actors, or anyone else involved in any of his films knew about his horrible crimes (assuming he’s guilty).

10 Cloverfield Lane - thought it was pretty swell.

Is that the movie where a giant monster receives head from the Statue of Liberty?

I think that’s the original Cloverfield, which I never bothered watching because it was all found footage shakycam style.

10 Cloverfield Lane is about a paranoid old man who rescued and/or kidnapped a young woman to protect her from the Russians and/or aliens and/or pretend the woman is his daughter. It’s a great movie.

I don’t get people who don’t give any films a 10/10 or A+ or perfect score, simply on principle that “there’s no such thing as a perfect film”

Same. There’s no such thing as perfect, of course, but some things come close. Either way, films are rated on a scale depending on all the films. 10/10 or A+ shouldn’t be reserved for “perfect” films, it should be reserved for the best of the films.

A+ means nearly perfect but not necessarily perfect. Also, there is a perfect movie

Am I a Bully?
Time

Yes, kids do need to learn how to cope, but it is more important to teach kids not to be the bullies in the first place. I still hate the kids that beat the crap out of me in the football locker rooms for fun in middle school. For a while, I didn’t know how to cope, so I didn’t at all and just assumed that they were justified and I was worthless. I wish I’d have known how to cope, but I wouldn’t have that problem if the kids were taught how to be decent human beings and not beating up the kid that already had a broken arm (me). Either way, bullying sucks and I’ll stop whoring for attention.

Blade Runner (Workprint)

Greatly prefer this to the theatrical cut. Only one narration clip, no “happy” ending, and I believe there were background noises of radio talking as spinners went to land that weren’t present in the theatrical, which was a nice touch.

I actually watched it with my parents, which was pretty awkward when Zhora showed up.

I digress, this gets an A+ from me.

This year’s Eurovision continues to both delight and horrify in equal measure. Apparently it’s going out to China, and also to the USA for the first time!

Any American OT’ers spending their afternoon watching this televisual treat?

Probably not. We’ve been so saturated by shows like American Idol and The Voice and whatnot for so long that it would take a might blow to crack into that audience. Most people here probably don’t understand the kitsch and charm of Eurovision, and probably would just assume it’s a “Europoor” cheap knock-off of American Idol and it’s ilk.

I might like it then, as I never liked Idol. I only ever watched it early in each season when all the hilariously awful singers would audition. Even then I would only watch one or two episodes at most, then not at all for a year.
