See, you’re already expressing biases here. That shouldn’t detract away users. There are plenty of women and girls who like Star Wars.

How many of those people are going to come to a forum, a rather dated website format, when you’d be more likely to be discussing it over at /r/StarWars, or hell, just with other people in person? The amount of anonymity that comes along with making an account here is enough reason to suggest that it doesn’t really matter who you are. You just need to hate the prequels, find ROTJ mediocre, and be repeatedly blown away by Dre’s algorithmic skills.

Personally, I like his passion for Supes. So many people write him off as a boring character, it’s nice to see someone who’s a big fan for a change.

Studios also make money on Snyder’s many extended cuts. I think there’s 3 or 4 versions of Watchmen, plus at least 2 supplemental animated movies that you can get seperately. It’s insane.

Last time I read them was before TFA, but IIRC they aren’t even born until halfway through The Last Command, so I just imagine that Leia was having one kid instead of two. I don’t skip any chapters or anything.

That doesn’t sound quite true. From the outside looking in, I’d say he definitely loves Frank Miller’s version of Superman – that is, Frank Miller’s awful, awful, awful caricature of Superman.

Frank Miller’s Superman is Mr. Rogers compared to Snyder’s Superman. Then again, my only knowledge of Miller’s Supes is TDKR Animated Direct-to-DVD movie, I never read the book.

Yeah, at least Donner had respect for some version of the character (that seemingly being Silver/Bronze Age). Snyder seems to hate all versions of Superman through the years to the point where he is hell bent on ruining Superman for everyone as we stand helpless to do anything about it.
