People act like not casting Donald Glover for Spider-Man is like spitting in the face of the fans, but Miles Morales is like 16 years old and Donald is in his 30s.

Either way, I’m really happy to see him in the universe in some capacity. He’s cool and I like him.

To be fair, Maguire and Garfield were both in their late 20s both playing teen Spidey’s. I am glad they got a younger actor for the MCU Spidey, though.

Speaking of Zelda, the next game has been shown at E3 and it looks amazing. I’m not a huge fan of the title, but I’ll wait until I play the game to determine whether the title is a good fit.

EDIT: I notice that it’s been mentioned previously by Haseo. Anyway, the Link above goes to the trailer (pun most certainly intended).

My point (wasn’t clear, my fault) was that the Death of Superman is the worst thing about the entire movie. It’s insulting to waste that iconic story on the last few minutes of Snyder’s Abriged The Dark Knight Returns: Footnote To Justice League. It’s half-assed and unearned.

Agreed. Batman V Superman is like TPM. I tried to convince myself I liked it until I realized I truly thought on the inside it was terrible.

BvS fascinates me. It isn’t good at all, I constantly complain about it, and yet I still can’t really make myself hate it. I want to like it because this is the kind of movie we’re gonna get for the next several years or more. I keep reading articles and posts by Snyder fans trying to convince people that it’s genius, hoping that they’ll convince me simply because I don’t want to feel so upset and disappointed for the next decade or so. They never do though, they’re arguments are as shallow as the movie is (and pretends it isn’t), and I always end up more frustrated than before.

Also

I wanted this “Lex” to die so badly. I was initially against Bat-Branding, but by the end I was hoping Bats would brand his face. I would actually quite appreciate a hypothetical edit that actually ends with Lex’s face branded.

I almost never see movies 2 and a half hours and longer. It’s the main reason why I skipped Civil War.

The thing about Civil War is I didn’t realize how long it was. I was enjoying myself the whole time. I never had that moment where you drop out of the movie and have a small existential crisis as you realize you’ve been watching this thing for hours.

Civil War was pretty good about keeping interest all the way through. The other two equally long super-movies struggled under the runtime, though. X-Men felt a bit bloated and BvS was screaming CAN YOU FEEL THE RUNTIME AS IT TAKES YOUR DREAMS AWAY?

I don’t like Superman: The Movie either.

Pushing aside all my issues with Clark’s characterization, I still hate everything pertaining to Luthor, Otis, and that dumbass ending.

It’s baffling that it’s a 4 stars on RogerEbert.com. Man of Steel is leaps and bounds ahead of the first superman.

If you don’t like the first Donner Superman, that’s fine. But saying Man of Steel is better? 'Em is fighting words!

Batman (1966)

Pure Silver Age silliness. Is it objectively good? I don’t know if I can really answer that. Do I love it? Absolutely.

Besides, even though it’s cheap, this Batman still has arguably the best live action adaptation of any comic bat-costume (unless you count BvS’ diet-Frank Miller suit)
