I wrote myself into about three short stories when I was a teenager. Two were just blatant wish fulfillment fantasties, but one would probably serve as a great treatment for a schlockly Ed Wood-type sci-fi movie (once all the names were changed to protect the innocent).
Mine’s definitely the former, and a bit of the latter.
EDIT: I forgot that my planned ending is for the protagonist to kill himself…
I began typing out a story recently. I don’t know how long it will end up being, assuming I even finish it, and so far it’s pretentious garbage, but it’s mostly just venting via projecting myself on a fictional character in a fictional setting similar to my own but exaggerated and futuristic. It’s helping, I guess.

I have plenty of interest i rewatching R1 as the beginning of a marathon of it, OT, and TFA, but given the lack of doc and commentary, I might wait.

After effectively ruining my favorite superhero ever, Superman, Zack Snyder’s Regime announces plans to ruin my second favorite hero as well.
It works fine on wifi for me, but not when using cellular data. I think this might be the wrong discussion category, however.
I will ask though: Is TOS S3 as bad as the indicators would have me expect? (Roddenberry leaving due to time slot change etc.)
IMO, S3 is a noticable step down from the quality of the first few seasons, but it’s not terrible despite a few episodes being so. The only episode that was truly painful for me to watch was “And the Children Shall Lead”.
My favorite S3 episodes:

Reaction to screening events for backers is entirely positive from what I’ve heard. Signs point to virgin pooches.
Minor nitpick that I have: I hate when they put quotes from reviews on the front of the cover. Put all that on the back, but I saw the movie, I know it was “Triumphant!” and those who don’t agree or haven’t seen it aren’t going to be convinced by the one word being slapped on the front of the cover.
Other than that, the cover is fine.

I’m disappointed in the bonus features lacking deleted scenes and commentary. However, interesting thing I noticed: the Best Buy exclusive includes a 3D disc, meaning that the double dip won’t even have New 3D release going for it like TFA had, and it’ll just be new bonus features (unless they make a new Rogue One SE or something).
Leia never agreed to be trained. Luke was just told to pass on what he had learned. Obviously the assumption was that would be to Leia, but if Leia had different plans - like starting a family with Han - it’d make sense that he might hold off, knowing he could train Ben (and others).
For a time but sometimes sacrifices need to be made. Leia made such a sacrifice in canon and as a result Snoke was found an opening to worm his way in.
And again, we don’t know that Luke didn’t teach Leia the ways of the Force, just that she didn’t become a Jedi (we know at least that she has the power to sense her husband dying on another planet). There’s a lot about this topic we don’t know yet.
I could have sworn I heard somewhere he gave her a beginners course in how to use The Force. Think Luke’s training in SW.
I don’t recall hearing that anywhere, but it seems like a given. Of course Luke would give her basic advice and knowledge about the Force. Her caring to learn much more beyond that, let alone undergo full Jedi training, seems unlikely to me.
I like that all the bonus features are on the B&W disc, that way I never have to look at the disgusting colorized version.
I didn’t experience any of the problems you describe, though I’ve only watched part 1 on the disc so far.
