Not necessarily. There’s no reason why we can’t see the PT and OT as separate stories that tell the larger Skywalker narrative.

Disney seems to consider it the Skywalker Family Saga.

OT: The Adventures of Luke Skywalker
ST: The Skywalkers inspired people from all parts of the galaxy (for better or worse)

is what I’m hoping for. Vader inspired Kylo Ben Solo, Luke inspired Rey Random.

Not sure about best, but definitely up there. I’d have to rewatch that episode from last(?) season that’s all about Jemma’s stay on that blue planet, which has been my favorite since it aired.

The Thomas Dolby songs are one of the best things about the movie, not to mention John Barry’s score. Why this has never come out on CD I’ll never know.

Fingers crossed that Series 10 doesn’t suck. Capaldi deserves better than what he’s gotten for te last few years, and it’s a real shame he’s leaving when Moffatt does.

I started the old show with The Ark in Space and it’s still my favorite. I’ve jumped back and forth quite a bit since then, but mostly I’m trying to get as many Tom Baker DVDs as I can in order (given that so many discs are OOP in region 1).

I cannot tell you how happy I am to read this 😃 It truly is a great film. My second favorite of 2016.

IMO, It is as close to a perfect movie as I’ve seen released in recent years. After thinking about it all night, I can only think of one very, very minor problem I had.
