Finally saw this. i think you all oversold it.
I have to agree. This just like the first Avengers didn't do much for me and was way over-hyped.
WG made some alterations to his versions of the 2004 SE, FWIW. He color corrected Ep IV and Ep V but he was more aggressive about it with Ep V. He also edited IV so Han would shoot first.
Edit: The Spleen is back up, btw. (for now)

I'm assuming that the German and Italian discs are Region B?
There's no need to assume. Blu-Ray.com gives you that info plus a whole lot more.

Great Work! Thanks for this list.
Does anyone know where to find those French HDF versions? They could be very helpful for version 2 of my HDTV project. PM me if you can help. Thanks.
Found them. PM sent.
So, what happened to releasing this project this week?
@ kk650
PM sent.
Did you find out more about how to add subtitles, DrDre? Harmy and Dark Jedi are two others that could probably help if You_Too can't.

I actually like the Director's Cut, but maybe that's because it's the only one I can watch. Could I please watch the Theatrical Cut again so I can start hating the Director's Cut?
PM sent.

If somebody can tell me how to add those subtitles in Avisynth I would be more than happy to put them in.
You_Too from Team Blu could probably help you. Maybe shoot him a PM:
@ DrDre
Those screenshots do look great I have to say. One quick question though, what are you going to do about the subtitles for Greedo in SW and Jabba in ROTJ? I'm hoping they will be hard-coded with a font similar to past projects here.

Yes, this will be the final version, and it should be ready for release in a few days.
Awesome. Without reading the whole thread how would you compare it to TeamBlu's version?
So, are you planning on releasing this soon?

I have been waiting for a blu ray of the theatrical cut for a long time, and it doesn't look like it's ever going to happen. So I would love to get this if it's still available :D

Life of Brian
Sony let the BD go OOP which is damn frustrating.
Doesn't appear that way to me:

I am interested in this project as well.

I have all the 1997 SE versions mentioned above except I've never heard of the RAI3 version. Where is the RAI3 version available for download?

Update: Harmy removed the burned-in South America 1936 Japanese subtitles beautifully, so that's done!
I'm pretty sure there's a WOWOW Channel Logo you'll want him to remove from the Nepal scene.
