I desaturated the fuck out of the green Naboo lasers, and overylayed a blue lightsaber effect. The cherry on top was the lense flares.

I did enjoy the Maple Films 3-in-1, however.
I didn’t watch the next two movies because I found the first one really dull and boring and another five and a half hours was too much for me.
That was probably the best decision.

JEDIT: I feel like the cutoff from the raised/lowered pitches to the normal audio is real noticeable. Other than that I really like Anakins deeper voice and it makes him seem more like 12 rather than 9.
JEDIT II: The record scratch could also use some adjustment. It doesn’t really fit with the whole Star Wars vibe, y’know? Maybe a different sound effect all together?

Something that I found interesting is that the Yoda scene in this movie implies that Yoda hasn’t spoken to Luke in 30 years.

If Rey wasn’t pretty confident with her abilitys, we’d have Luke’s arc again. All I want, as the viewer, is the most interesting/fun story possible with characters I enjoy watching. The sequels so far have given me this.

It’s a wonder Yoda being in TLJ didn’t leak at all, AFAIK.
I think it leaked at Celebration 2016 where they were exhibiting the official Yoda puppets and one of the puppeteers said ‘That’s the Episode 8 Yoda’.
At least, I heard about it in 2016.
I really dislike the Slave I shooting at Obi-Wan, and anything involving them sliding off the platform. I think the CQC in the fight is okay, but I can’t think of a way to edit around the sliding.
The thing I hate about Tatooine in Episode I is the ‘extended sets’. Like, all the floating stuff and bad looking buildings in the background.
They went through all the effort of building a set and hiring extras only to clutter it with CG ships and banthas.
