Ah, it seems George lost a little bit more of his mind.  Digital Yoda in Ep1 was merely the tip of the iceberg.  ROTJ has a couple of staggeringly stupid changes this time around - the Ewoks now have new eyes that blink because...?

But easily the worst part is that Vader now lets out not one, but two NNNOOOOOOO's as he throws the Emperor down the shaft.  After all, everybody loved that in ROTS, so why not do it again?  And thus a formerly poetic moment now got stupid.  Does Richard Marquand have an estate that can sue over this shit?

I didn't see it in slo-mo, but I think the close-up when Luke moved the bone from the left to right of the screen (right before he was picked up) - the bone seemed to trail very weirdly. 

The technical stuff is foreign to me, but the results look good.  Of all the technical problems that this community has to deal with, DVNR just might be the worst.  I hope you get the SWE's, and I hope you make this work well.

That scene seems to be too bright in general.  Is the Emperor's face meant to be seen quite so clearly in this shot?  Also, the video screen behind them goes from red to purple as the Emperor is walking toward Vader @ 51:02.

Whatever happened to Adigitalman's edit of the film?  It doesn't seem to be going around at all right now.

I've had no problems playing the AVCHD's in a PS3.  You might need an update. 

Harmy, your versions of SW and ESB are now my go-to versions as well.  I eagerly anticipate your ROTJ.

I was using the Czech version, and that one wasn't cooperating.  But now that I'm on myspleen (thanks dj!) it won't be a problem.

This is the first chance I've had to thank Harmy and all the rest who have done so much work restoring these films.  I was particularly surprised at how well the celebration scene from ROTJ turned out.  Got shivers all over again.
