and I believe the caption on issue 35 read , " Two words ,one name ,almost anti climactic given the long time it has taken for him to learn it ". The Dark Horse series Vader’s quest also dealt with the issue as well and I recall seeing a timeline on the web long ago that reconciled those two stories into one.
right ! like Klaus Janson on Star Wars Annual 3 ! I am still hoping to find a copy of The three random house original trilogy pop up books out in the wild somewhere. I could order them off ebay or amazon or some such but I enjoy coming across such finds in physical locations .

I don’t have any copies of it on the laptop I’m currently using. (I do have all the rest though, for some weird reason.)
Either way, it mostly looks like the German cover, only with the original US colours. Plus, it wasn’t really finished. But now that I have the German and Mexican versions I might use those to improve it when I get back home. I might post it then, alongside some of the other covers I didn’t post earlier.

yeah, I dig them . The Force.net used to have a gallery of the entire run of the old Marvel series covers , U.S. ,SWW and Titan as well as all other international covers but I have not been able to find it in the archive since they changed the format of the site.They even had a couple of U.K. hardback annuals
