I don’t think any of those officers standing on the upper level even react to the shots being fired. None of the troopers seem to be as far back as the officers that are presumably reviewing them, either. In fact, the whole perspective of this shot seems wonky. And that TIE fighter is either floating or resting on some crates, because it surely can’t be gripped from up above by the fragile panels?

Han had the element of surprise in his favor , the Stormtroopers were not used to being challenged on their home turf , and lost their wits momentarily and ran in fear of a "mad berserker " . same thing happened with Indiana Jones and the Thugee guards in Temple Of Doom .made perfect sense to me . and It was hillarious .although the 97 special edition of Star Wars onward built it up a bit too much with legions in the hangar instead of a few guards

he wrote the first books in the new canon , the Aftermath trilogy , and from what I understand , received a lot of harassment for introducing a gay protagonist . A lot of things he has said on social media were a reaction to this while "focusing on his writing " at the same time .I just took a look at youtube , and there are already dozens of trolls jumping on the bandwagon to celebrate .

I am waiting to hear a statement from Marvel or Disney on this , but I have seen a lot of vitriol thrown this guys way …and frankly , I think the current Marvel Star Wars comics suck monkey balls , I loved The Last Jedi , but their adaptation of it looks like a fucking 3 year old drew it .They are also driving the character of Vader into the ground . If you want to talk about over exposure , that is the worst offender I have seen . The original Marvel Star Wars had more heart and imagination than the current line up will ever have,talking green rabbit and all , and they knew to keep Vader as a lurking threat in the background so that when he did show up , it had more gravitas .
