I have always wondered why people do not use the photos in the 1978 Star Wars Storybook for reference when doing color corrections . https://www.starwars.com/news/parenting-padawans-5-reasons-vintage-star-wars-storybooks-stand-the-test-of-time
I still don’t know what Yoda’s species is, but his last name is Layheehoo .
^ you’re welcome . thank you for the feedback and Merry Christmas to you !
glad to see you back and I am digging the Independence Day avatar . I read your post in that characters voice .Just be on the lookout for Captain SW or Colonel SW and good luck avoiding General Sw . Myself , I try to avoid Leftenant Sw .
The Emperor’s throne room also was a bit too simple, needing more greebles or dynamics in the design as it just looks like a plain room with some wall light scones and a window which is far too small. It needed probably a number of larger windows in which to help indicate the scale and bring the exterior inside more to help tie it all together.
^ This is what I was saying in my earlier post but you articulated it better

And on the other hand…(not trying to be a jerk, I honestly think this is a valid rebuttal)…
interesting video , I can see some of his points , though I would argue that Holdo was a little pissed that her best friend Leia was hospitalized and Leia was also in on Holdo’s plan .I completely disagree with the suggestion towards the end of the video that TLJ had no quiet character driven moments though …here is one …https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GU4hyN5rnk and another …https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yepMuMoAKpA
I have been enjoying my blu ray copies of both films this year , I think they also have some great extras and commentaries
I am absolutely in love with the Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures art style, so I’ve been working on something.

Defending Admiral Holdo in The Last Jedi …https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kyfb-K1rbY
the resolution is slightly better here …may be the best it gets as the film was made in 2001 https://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/shortfilms/knightquest/ …
I thought the Star Wars Theory fan film had some decent parts , though I could do without the sjw comments from his fanbase . The Vader costume was very movie accurate and the space scenes were on par with the films as well . On the flipside , the Emperor looked terrible and the blue interior set he was in toward the end seemed like it was shot in a bedroom with lighting effects to make it look a little larger . The square windows did not seem very Star Wars to me . Maybe if it had a bigger budget .
There was a fan film about Vader that had the same kind of emotional vibe to it years ago , and while it does have some cringey moments , it is still one of the best I have seen . Just wish I could find it in higher resolution …https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc_sDKoLMJg - ‘Star Wars - Knight Quest’.
^ great videos , great channel and looking at the current hit counter on there , 1.6k people were really butthurt 😃
why is the link you gave all in Dutch though ?
^ yes , I have read it and posted it in a thread elsewhere on the boards here earlier this year , Ahmed Best has also been doing a video blog in preperation for a one man show dealing with his experiences and fandom in general …https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7-EnAAGNilzMoXWTqBQYog/videos
^ Doctor Aphra is an interesting character and have only read a little about Sana Starros but Salla Zend from the Dark Empire series was an interesting character in the same scoundrel vein as Solo and Calrissian
^ interesting video ! I wonder if they talked about the symbol in the Art Of The Force Awakens coffee table book . I wish I had picked that up but it was very expensive .
^ ah , cheese puns ! nice one .lol
^ that is a super callous response
I like the title , it was also used in Star Wars twice before …http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Vol_1_49 and http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Last_Jedi_(novel) to me , the title has a legendary feel to it , like The Last Starfighter or The Last Samurai , The Last Unicorn etc .And the story heavily played upon the Legend of Luke Skywalker from the beginning of TFA on . I could not think of a more fitting or perfect title for the film .
A intriguing fan film trailer that caught the eye…
‘Shrouded Destiny: A Star Wars Long Tale Teaser Trailer - “An Interesting Question”’ - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoVhG5RSN1s
'The first teaser trailer for the biggest Star Wars fan film in the history of fan films!
The entire team of more than 200 volunteers who worked on this with a budget of roughly $100.000 would like to thank all the fans for their continued support and hope that you’ll help us out by sharing this video on your Social Media accounts with a few words on your thoughts.
“Shrouded Destiny: A Star Wars Long Tale” is an entirely fan made endeavor with more than a few industry professionals designed to be pitched to Disney in the ambitious plan of making the groundwork laid here into a five season series for world wide streaming!
The inspiration for the series is heavily influenced by Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Wire, and The Raid and will be full of complex characters, rich landscapes, stories that twist and turn and dare to take you deeper than you’ve ever gone before, fantastic brutal action, and fates that will tear hearts asunder.
The year 2019 will see the completion of this 45 minutes pilot that we hope to bring to the doorsteps of Disney in the hopes of being hired, so please help this project come alive by liking:’

Looks interesting ! I can definitely see a Game Of Thrones influence in that trailer .I wonder if David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are aware of it .https://variety.com/2018/film/news/star-wars-game-of-thrones-new-films-david-benioff-db-weiss-1202689489/
Shira is one of my favorite characters in all of Star Wars , the original red haired assassin years before Mara Jade , and she made the leap from comics to novels decades after she was introduced .Also , I have always pronounced her name as Shyra Bry , but Dave Michellinie , who wrote her , has said that he does pronounce her first name that way but the majority of fans he talked to pronounced it Sheera and he also has said the last name is pronounced Bree .The Sheera pronunciation reminds me too much of She Ra from Masters Of The Universe and Bree reminds me of the cheese food ,so in my head , I am sticking with the Shyra Bry pronunciation.
this is a thread for discussing strong female characters in Star Wars that you admire , whether it be canon or legends .I yield the floor …
I thought Attack Of The Clones was a joke when I first heard it , but no , they actually did it . I still think it’s a terrible title .
lol …Who’s the Bossk ?
