I honestly think it just sounds like a really rough audio cut right now more than a shorter version of it.  It appears with no real beginning, and ends with no real end.  Either make it more like a "Sith Shout" than a "Sith Scream with a bad cut", or eliminate the scream.

The lights flickering look AWESOME!  I suggest a couple flickers when he says "Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?", because that is SUCH a Sidious moment and he looks SO pissed off.  Also, again, try keeping the lights off until Mace is alone with Sidious in the hallway.  What does the cutting down of the Jedi look like in the dark?  Like you said, the longer it's dark, the better, and the sudden revelation that Mace is now alone when the lights come back on (probably because Sidious' entire focus would then be on Mace, not also the lights) would be very scary and alarming for the viewer.

When the lights finally go out, is that boom the Force?  It sounds like the generator shutting down.

EDIT: Also, have the lights get as dark as they do in the first clip!  That was really spooky.  The less we see of Sidious, the better.

A few ideas. I agree that the saber coming out of the sleeve should be cut. Gives that much more impact to the saber igniting in the darkness.

Have Palps get up slower. Cut from him starting to get up to showing the Jedi again with their sabers drawn but have the lights flicker accompanied by the force rumble sound effect. Maybe insert a puzzled closeup shot of Mace's face during the flicker before cutting back to Palps getting up all the way as the lights dim completely.

I think it would be perfect then. I think it's important to get a reaction shot of sorts from the Jedi to the lights flickering/dimming.

 

How I would do it:

Cut to the shot of the Jedi with their sabers drawn. Lights flicker more along with inceasingly loud force Rumble.

Shot of Palps after the omitted sleeve closeup. It's treason then. (lights flicker and dim to nothing) Palpatine's saber ignites from the darkness.

THIS.  The only things I can add would be be perhaps having Palpatine keep the lights down when he charges, so that we only hear the Jedi's screams, then when only Mace is left and they're going into the hallway, have the lights come back up to show that Mace is now alone.  Plus having the lights come back up as quick as they do in the current preview make the dimming pointless.  They have to have a purpose, which would be having Palpatine killing the Jedi in the dark (plus only seeing the blades in all of that would be cool).

ALSO, you MUST get rid of that small remnant of the Force scream that's still in there!

What about that thud I mentioned when one of the troopers gets hit in the new clip?

And even if they didn't know, that doesn't make it better for the viewer.  Anyways, I don't think I'm gonna win this one.

Another note: If the Empire destroys the power generator, shouldn't the lights in the base go out?

I think the shot doesnt need fixing because 3po said what he had to say and returned to his duty. In fact he could be annoying if what he just said wouldnt be useful ;)

Any Luke/Leia kisses are awkward when seen as part of the whole trilogy.  They make otherwise good scenes awkward at least a little bit.

And I'm not saying that 3P0's line should be removed, I'm suggesting his position in the shot after he talks be changed to match the previous shot.

I know this is a pretty damn daring suggestion that most likely won't get done and probably will meet a lot of criticism, BUT... I am currently watching ESB on Spike and I can't help but wish Adywan would cleverly edit out the infamous Luke and Leia kiss.  Unless he plans to remove the sibling twist in Jedi, it really does just ruin the whole scene because any fan knows just WHAT is going on there.

Ady, the clip is WONDERFUL!  I can't get over the new Cloud City, it looks beyond professional!  Just a couple things:

1. After 3P0 tells R2 to access the computer terminal, he then says "R2, hurry".  Could this be changed to just "Hurry"?  There's no need for him to say "R2" again.

2. When one of the stormtroopers is shot outside right by the doorway, I hear a slight thud when he's hit.  Why would there by a thud?

Also, is it possible to remove that "Sith Scream" completely?  That little remainder of it makes the whole thing feel like a rough cut, when it really isn't.

I don't mind Leia saying that. Although it is obvious to us, the audience, that there is a Star Destroyer, in the heat of the moment, it seems quite natural that Leia, or anybody for that matter, would shout out "Star Destroyer" if you suddenly saw one. If you were driving along and suddenly a bus was coming right for you, your passenger is quite likely to shout out "LOOK OUT - A BUS!", even though it would be quite obvious. It's just a knee-jerk reaction.

 

The delivery of the line is so... bland, though.

Ady, question about your view of the project when you watch what's done so far, or even ANH: R.  When I edit videos that people seem to like, I personally cannot see what's so great because as opposed to seeing the whole forest of the video, I see each individual tree that is each cut and what-not, so that as the creator, I can't appreciate it as much as the viewers can.  Are you the same way with the Revisiteds?

In my opinion, it only makes the shot look a lot more still.  Earlier I hadn't noticed that as the ship moves, the stars don't go out of view.  Now, since the Destroyer doesn't get larger as we get closer, I noticed the stars, too, and thus the entire shot looks still.
