Oh, and another good anime soundtrack is Cowboy Bebop. I'd like to buy the white box with every single musical bit from the show, but unfortunally I have to work for money, and I gotta spend it on other things such as rent and food, instead of really important things like obscure unknown imported anime soundtracks.

Hmnn... don't you think you're exagerating a little bit? I don't think the media enforces this particular dogma. Take the whole fast food issue, for example. The media is highly opposed to bad eating habbits, which is supposed to FEEL good but is not exactly a good thing. And I think no political consideration or opinion is related to that kind of thought.

Exactly, he's not a movie STAR, whose name would be responsible for the ticket selling. He still have that "indie movie" aura around him... Which is good, because he didn't get steriotyped and didn't get his image "defined" by SW as Mark Hamill did. I think he'll eventually turn into something like Steve Buscemi... get smaller parts, smaller movies, but being a good and respected actor, and doing the parts he wants.

I did watch Leia singing the Life Day song though. Oh God... I can't watch SW the same way now...

From what I've read: perhaps this "alien commercial" bit was supposed to be on a TV set on the show, like in the background, when the cartoon was over...? And it got cut, maybe? That would explain the audio and the crude animation, it was not supposed to be in full view...
