Most Underrated Console System
Time
First, a note. I was sending this post, when I lost the connection and the computer crashed. I usually don't re-write when I lose something like this, specially a big post, but I felt I had to. So, anyway... *takes a big breath*

...GAAAAAHHHH!! My eyes are bleeding!! BLASPHEMY!! DOUBLE BLASPHEMY!!

The Atari was a CLASSIC console! Although I prefered the Intellevision.

The 3DO was an AWESOME console, and a great idea too: make an open format and allow other manufacturers to have one... The Panasonic was the best one! It had a great graphic engine for that time, a great video compression, and great games, why, it had a high-res version of Night Trap! The award winning "Twister"! The first versions of FIFA Soccer and Need for Speed were released for the 3DO! It had the best version of "The Incredible Machine"! It had good versions of Street Fighter Turbo! It had a brilliant way to allow 8 controllers into one console (the second controller was connected on the first one, and so on, up to 8).

I still remember when I first played the Neo Geo, in a sunny saturday afteroon in 1992, with a friend of mine, at a video store that allowed you to play consoles for a few bucks an hour. We had those huuge controllers on our small, 10 year old kids laps, and played Art of Fighting... I was in awe, playing that cool 32 bit console for the first time...

(*sigh* it's about 75% of what I've written previously... )

So, Han (Me) on Guitar, 3PO (Ric) on Keyboard/Synth and Greedo (Chaltab) on Ocarina. This is shaping up to be one hell of a band. Vader or R2 are clear contenders for lead vocals IMO.

We need a bassist and someone on the drums. Chaltab really got the spirit of prog rock, an ocarina?? Quite Jethro Tull-esque!

LOL! I was thinking I could do what DAYV was talking about, but I don't know about blindfolded. :-)

Not literally blindfolded, I meant without looking at the TV. The first stage of Sonic is also possible to beat like that, too, quite easy. All you have to do is memorize the jumps and memorize the position of the map by the "collecting ring" sound.

Episode I - Manga Comic.
Time
I'm 23.

Well, the first kanji you'll learn will probably be "ichi", "ni" and "san" - or "yama"

Don't read romanji! Or else you won't be able to read hiragana or katakana skillfully, and will be reading like "uh.... to.... temo... ta... kai... desu..."

They DID offer japanese on my highschool, mostly because my highschool was founded by priests to bring japanese descendents into catholicism, until the 50s it accepted only japanese kids, and until 1960, only boys. It was VERY optional, few people knew it even existed, and I didn't take back then, I wish I did.

The Beatles
Time
Anything from Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band foward. I'm more into the psychedelia, studio driven beatles than the beatlemania frenzy rock n roll. My favorite songs are:

* Hey Jude
* Strawberry Fields Forever
* A Day in Life
* All you Need is Love
* Here Comes the Sun
* I am the Walrus
* Magical Mystery Tour
