It's not even big news over here, sometimes I hear something about it. I'm sure that the whole thing will fade out in a few weeks, after the story is not commercial anymore. That's right boys and girls, the media gets MONEY from broadcasting news to you, so they'll always go for the most profitable one: the fear-inducing news that lasts for months, and you're gonna keep tunning in every single day.

If this thing gets so bizarrely out of control and mutates into humans (not in hundreds of years, but in days), and spread all over the world like a freaking bubonic plague, I say DON'T vaccinate, let it kill us all. We deserve it. Enough of the humand kind on this planet. Also, it'll be so puzzling for the aliens who come here in thousands of years from now, seeing all those buildings and cars, and human skeletons inside of hospitals...

Get rid of the internet!
Time
Oh I see so these are people who want the internet to be off, but they are using it to express their opinion? This is probably fake, as I didn't care to take a big look at it, but it reminds me this joke on Chatterbox (GTA3), in which this person called Laslow saying that she was organizing a movement for the ban of telephones... using a phones to organize it.

Lucas Did Not Think about It

If he said that to a news reporter, didn't the guy at least say "Oh, ok, how about YOUR movies?". I just wonder how he would react if we asked him about this contradiction. I bet he would cover his ears, and scream "I can't hear you na na na na!!" until you gave up.

Dude....I WAS going to ask him at Celebration 3. I was 2 people away from asking it when they sent us all back to our seats. I was absolutely stoked. I had the whole thing pretty much mapped out in my head. No way was I going to give him an out. I was going to cover the artist's rights thing, his original vision, EVERYTHING. I was out to corner the bastard and make him squirm!!!

Also, they had some girls at the front of the line that I think were fielding questions. So, I came up with a whole bullshit question to tell them (I came up with something about Indiana Jones) and then when I would have stepped up to the mike....I was going to ask the forbidden question.

That reminds me of a scene in "Roger and Me", in which Michael Moore is about to make a question to Roger, and he suddenly says the questions are over, and ignores him yelling "wait, i have a question".

redeeming lucas

I belive he did say that. But if he said it on his knees... Hmn...

Can someone explain to me Star Wars: Galaxies?

I like Vice City best mainly for the plot and the atmosphere (gameplay is a given). I mean, San Andreas has The 'Hood, while Vice City has The Mafia. Plus Ray Liotta is the main character. It's basically an interactive version of "Scarface".

And I love blasting that '80s soundtrack!

Exactly! I mean, a game where you control Ray Liotta playing a mafia hitman, riding a car while listening to "Owner of a Lonely Heart" MUST be one of the best games around. To me, San Andreas was very disapointing, Vice City was the best GTA game ever, and one of the best game plots and dialogues I've ever seen.

Ray Liotta explaining why he decided to work on GTA Vice City: "For the money."

yeah, i know...

Have you ever met guys like these?

A friend of mine, who is a hard core SW fan, reading books and knowing the manufacurer of all the ships, such as x-wing and tie-fighter, actually said that the prequels were far superior, and AOTC was the best movie ever made. I tried to argue with him, but I gave up. When he watched ROTS, he said it was the worse episode, and suddenly realise all that I was saying about the prequels, and gave up his distorted view, claiming the O-OT is good again.

Yes, besides what YIYF just said, I could move to a different place in Brazil with no crime whatsoever, a small friendly town, away from the huge urban areas. That uncle of mine lived in a city where there has been only 3 murders, 2 of those criminal, he being the last one. Although this country sucks for a whole number of reasons (and for those conservatives out there, I criticize Brazil much more than the USofA, only I don't discuss it here because you wouldn't understand), going to some place else is not going to solve anything. I could move to a cute little cheese-makers town in Switzerland where everyone is happy and good-hearted, and still be the subject of mean persons, and crime would still happen, and violence would still happen.

Mankind itself is beyond salvation, so I don't care anymore. If anyone wants to put a gun on my head and kill me for my wallet, go ahead. I won't be losing much anyway.

First of all, I'm glad your brother is okay and that no one got hurt. THAT is the important thing, not the money.

I realize that this is a traumatic situation, and it's tough to act correctly when such things happen, but he did exactly what he had to do. While he should not doubt himself, as he acted bravely and correctly, I share his doubt on mankind. I have lost faith in it not only based on violent occasions such as my uncle's and your brother's case, but in how people act toward each other. It's all about satistying our own personal needs without thinking about other people. It's the abusive father, the tiranic boss, the bad teacher, the bully, the guy who cheats on his wife...

About the weapons issue, I could discuss it better on a different topic, but I have to say that if he had a weapon, things would turn out different. Not "could", WOULD. But would it be for better or worse?
